I love 100% Cotton, I think it's such a great name! I was always uncomfortable when his girlfriend told him she didn't like playing his "Stab" games, like that sounds like it's been a serious ongoing issue! Then again, he's always been shown to be a little off. I think the intro to 3 might be my least favorite, but it could be 5. Is it just me or does Mark Kincade look about 45 in this? Oh, Parker Posey is so iconic in this. Justice for Jennifer Jolie! I wish that had been left vague so she could come back. Can you believe this movie is a Weinstein brothers production?! They were doing all that shady shit while funding Scream 3! Wild. Horrifying. I'll always be mad he deprived us of Rose McGowan in the sequel somehow. Lynn McRee is the woman who plays Sidney's mom. She's an actor but not a name I recognize from anything else. Jenny McCarthy is awful and I hate that she's in this movie with some really funny lines. Roman acting like the broken award is a sign he's in danger is one of my favorite little touches. I wonder what the plot of Stab 3 was supposed to be? Back to Scream 3: In my mind, Angelina was the second killer and Roman was just the only one to successfully get rid of his partner. But kudos to him for ambition, as a certain FBI agent says in a future film. I think Angelina was his partner in one of the early rewrites, which did get leaked to the media, just like you said. So much went wrong with this one- Columbine also happened the year before and the studio made them tone down the violence a lot because of it. That's part of why this one relies so heavily on the camp and humor. I really like this movie, but I wish I could have seen what 3 would have looked like without all the changes. 27:08 Wtf even WAS this conversation? Imagine if he'd actually said those things to Dewey! I love Patrick Warburton, he's such a great voice actor. Carrie Fisher's cameo might be my favorite part of this movie. It's hard to just pick one, though. 40:01 Well, cops aren't exactly known for that. 43:00 We never do find out why Det. Kincade says any of this weird and specific stuff about his past. They're probably planning to delve into it in whatever they can put together for 7. (It's one of my theories that 7 will make Kincade the killer and it will come out that he was actually Roman's partner. Probably not though.) 20 seconds later and you're speculating about this exact theory! I think there are a few directions they could go, it's just sad that they destroyed the third movie of their trilogy again. I'll watch it when it comes out on streaming, but I'm not going to support them after they fired Melissa Barrera and never so much as contacted Jasmine Savoy Brown (or if they did contact her, it was recent). I get a little emotional at the end sometimes, when Sidney stays with Roman and holds his hand. It says a lot about the kind of person she is and how much she would love a normal family relationship. Omg, you hit everything on the head ESPECIALLY with Kincade. Now I almost hope and wish they do something like that. Or if not, at least make the love between him and Sidney really believable and worth it and then kill him at the end after a cool secret is divulged. We shall see. And yeah, I don’t blame anyone for not wanting to see it in theatres because they truly did mess up their third yet again. But all in all, I’m so happy you enjoyed watching it with me! I don't always have so much to say, but Scream tends to make me longwinded. You're the goat for reading through my comments tbh. When I said they destroyed the third one again, I don't mean to imply that I hate 3, just comparing how much is going on behind the scenes. I've got so much affection for 3. I have always seen 4 as this weird outlier that's kind of its own thing and then 5 and 6 are the story of those main characters... I just thought we were getting a trilogy of that cast (trying to be vague for people who haven't seen past 3 yet). I can't wait to gab about 4 whenever you get to it! I will be watching 7 when it comes to a streaming service. I'm not that strong. (Even if the reviews are awful, I have to see it.) Be good to yourself.

This is commonly revered as the least-liked Scream film in the franchise, and while I can agree for various reasons, I don't dislike it. It's fun and campy and Parker Posey along with Neve and the gang make this film very enjoyable. What do you guys think? Melodic I hated this movie when it came out originally but now I've grown to like it. It was too goofy for me lol back in the day but I'm old now it's cool.
