A recent poll by Data for Progress found that 73% of young Americans were concerned about the changing climate's impact on their communities, but 53% of them don't think their vote matters. Furthermore, 70% of the 18-to 29-year-olds polled don't feel like their generation is represented in Congress. A July report from Tufts University found that there are more than 8 million newly eligible young voters in 2022, and the youngest of them-ages 18 and 19-are more diverse than the remaining electorate. According to the report, Black and Latine voters make up 54% of new voters. These new voters could have a significant impact on 2022 midterm results, but only if candidates' campaigns are able to reach them. Younger voters who aren't on voter rolls or lists of past voters yet are more likely to be ignored. You can register to vote in your state
Personally, I think this is some of her worst acting I've ever seen from her!! It completely took me out of the movie by how fake it felt, shame truly, but the movie itself is a masterpiece!!
CriticalAngel Unfortunately I must agree in regards to that whole dialogue with the principal, it didn't seem genuine and it was unlike her. However, the scream and that brief look of serenity that washes over her upon the realization that she's not alone, which sadly happened just after the clip ended, makes up for it.
