I didn’t know the scream fandom was this toxic until Scream 6. They want everyone to kiss the franchises ass and say it’s the best thing ever when it’s getting worse and worse each movie. Such a shame.

It's so funny how a lot of Scream 5 and 6 fans are using the box office numbers as "proof" that those are good films.

I’ve had people attack me and hurl insults at me for when I had said that “Scream 5” is pure garbage. They couldn’t even debate with me. They just insulted me. Same thing happened with my opinions about the MCU and Star Wars. I got out of the Transformers movies because their plot holes for the entire series is as huge as the Grand Canyon. The Mark Whalberg and even Bumblebee contradict the original trilogy. Now we’re getting Beast Wars. Yet we still haven’t gotten any action from Unicron and Megatron is always in bad shape and being held back from his full potential. These people are just losers.

Drama = Views. Simple as that. People attack others for clout and views. People will tweet 5-10+ times a day attacking others content to drive traffic to their content. Hard to find anyone who has actual opinions and real takes on movies and shows. It's all about being controversial for clout.

I love Zack's channel and he is a very logical and calm reviewer who almost always explains his reasoning for something and reminds his audience that this is just HIS opinion and that we're all here to discuss our own opinions. Having people lash out at him for an actually pretty positive review IMO compared to the title of his review is just people trying to stir up drama for drama's sake.

Scream is turning into a franchise that it used to make fun off should have ended with 3 i wasn't a fan of four it had some potential but that fell through and didn't go anywhere 4 should have been a sign this franchise should end there's nothing left to do with it other then turn it into endless sequels like other franchises we won't name 🙄 some people eat up flavorless garbage and sometimes you have to add some salt 😅

I really like the character of Tara. Believe it or not I like both her and Kirby better than Sid. I think they show more compassion That being said this movie was a dumpster fire. I was so relieved when I saw Zack give an honest review because I was afraid he was going to appease the children Who cares to take any criticism I thought he was nice regarding the movie. He under sold how weak the kills were. He said it was lazy riding when it was beyond lazy But yeah to the people that say this was a great movie.. can you please explain? Did It have a top three opening? Top three reveal? top three in kills? I don’t even find it suspenseful because it’s mostly just action Suspense indicates we don’t know what’s around the next corner. Anyway I brought this up on zacks Page and sure enough he did a breakdown of the movies in the franchise And yeah he points out how 6 there’s not a top movie in the franchise by almost every measure. Sure it is subjective. However if we were talking about what scream offers us,6 Offers the least I saw another channel and the guy did a great job explaining how Mindy (Moreso the lines she had to read) were just awful) It was a lot of over exposition I knew that. But thinking back he’s right I remember not liking my character versus the film prior. The guy also brought up how literally every character was worse than the prior film. I agree with him except I do think Sam was better Another point he brought up that I found interesting is Gale. He mentioned he thought she only wrote the book so they could incorporate the punch scene If that’s the case and that some of the laziest writing ever. Anyway yeah I think this movie was just a complete miss. They should not even have the killers in disguise in the next movie. They might as well show us from the killers point of view At this point I think they are doing the “the CRAZIEST scream ever!!!” Marketing just to troll us lol They came out and said how they were going to have all of those misdirection and the rules were going to be completely changed and then we got the most basic and obvious reveal ever in a scream movie The only changing of rules I noticed is the buck knife has been replaced by a spork again because they are too lazy to find a way to have these characters in actual trouble and they are too cowardly to kill anybody off So instead they just have them Michael Myers at the end of the film. Terrible movie andI’ve noticed almost everybody that says it’s one of the best simply says that.. they don’t give any examples as to why this movie is any better than five or the others

Just like how zack charry likes the scream movies I'm a fanatic of Chucky now I have never had any toxic people on my channel but they did attack a fellow Chucky RU-vidr of mine nightmarecript and back in 2021 he did a video where he exposed those toxic fans because we have not been liking the direction that the TV series has been going

I can't even be involved in this fandom anymore because of zoomer immaturity and blind praise, I'm not a teenager who can eat up whatever Hollywood throws into my face just because I enjoy the franchise. I'm thinking eventually though they might come around and admit 6 was not that good at all because I saw the same thing happen with 5, it was hyped as amazing but I see a lot of posts now that point out all the flaws with less pushback. Will be interesting to see the rankings and how they stand the test of time because 6 was the most disappointing to me by far and seeing it ranked above the original by some is very confusing.

The toxic scream 5 and 6 fandom is making me enjoy scream 6 less.

I’m very bothered by those “Quantity over quality” type fans. I find it so irritating how some fans actually want a quality movie with some effort put into it. They will voice their opinions on what they would like in a movie. What they think would be good for a story, only to have someone treat them like a spoiled and ungrateful brat who’s asking for too much, saying: “Just be thankful we’re getting another movie.” God forbid some of us fans actually give a damn about these movies and have some expectations. I personally am a quality over quantity fan. If You’re just going to put out a lazy, half assed, clash grab of a sequel, and not make any effort, then why even bother?

Just went to the comment section of his video, most people are either agreeing with his points or giving evidence for their perspective. This video seems like a clickbait-y play at the Scream community.
