Hello Paul, I am looking for baffles for my cannon's. Although I enjoy the rumble when I am in town, when touring I prefer a quiet exhaust. Any chance you still have the baffles and if so are you willing to part with them?

I have no regrets with these simple mods. I also drilled a 1/2" hole out the cats on the tailpipes and it got a little louder. It also relieved some of the heat on the right side of the bike. I didn't have to retune it or make any adjustments. Just a nice deeper sound! Thanks for the input!

No, never took them out of the tail pipes. I was able to bore them out with a long drill bit. Then they got a little louder too. M-8's don't produce too much sound... I noticed the heat on the right side dropped from the added flow.

No, the bike ran the same. The cayt's and the long baffle are still in there

@@pauldorchak1168 what size drill bit did you use?

@@cjg431 1/2 auger bit. Like 18" long, then drilled in the center and bored the hole out with the drill bit. So most of the cats are still in there. The sound improved again. Remember the cayts are in the tail pipes on this Screaming Eagle upgrade.

@@pauldorchak1168I have the high flow exhaust as well. Thinking about doing the same or biting the bullet and buying kromewerks

@@cjg431 please note there are NO after market slip on's for the Screaming Eagle Header's. You'd need to change the headers as well. These headers are 2.25" Normal headers are 1.75" Be careful when buying.

I will look on the inside of the tailpipes to look for a part # for you. I made this video to show options for the system I have on my 2017 Road Glide M8 system. Remember these are High Flow Headers too.

Take off the Tailpipes. I bought a 20" long 1/2" auger drill bit. Then I drilled hole on the cats for more sound. It drops the heat level on the right side also! I did one large bored out hole on each side. If to you drill more than the one they'll get louder. Thanks for asking. You'll never get the 103 sound unless you go 2 into 1.

Mike, in the video WAY up front in the pipe is a what looks to be a spiral looking thing. That is the Catalytic Convertor. I didn't have to retune it. Yes, it is the Screaming Eagle tuner with the interface. Never had to re adjust it. The Cats are still in the tailpipes thou.

@@pauldorchak1168 the cats are not in the tailpipe. It’s in the headpipe.

@@2002roadkingclassic the original headers have the Catalytic Converter in it. That is correct.

@@2002roadkingclassic not on the high flow exhaust. The cat is in the mufffler.

Drill out the 3 rivets. Then the small baffles will pull out. Make sure you have screaming eagle street cannons tail pipes. I did mention it in the video. Good luck with your project!
