Great video! 2 questions: 1. How fast does the ink dry? 2. How long does it take to print on 200 boxes?

Thanks! It dries to the touch in about 15 minutes. I usually leave mine spread out for at least an hour just to be sure though. I can print 200 boxes in about 45 minutes. The most time consuming part is spreading them out all over my floor after I print each one!

I'm using cardboard box just like this to pack my cookies. If i paint the box like what you did for branding. Would the paint affect the food inside the box????

The acrylic ink air dries permanent, no need to heat set. Mine usually dries in under an hour!

Yes, I use my Cricut Maker to cut the vinyl designs.

No need to heat set acrylic ink... just let it air dry! Left the boxes spread out overnight and they were good to go by morning.

I prefer to use Speedball inks because it washes out of the screen so nicely. Some acrylic paints may dry too quickly.

i am trying this on flat mailer envelopes that have a glossy finish. for the life of me i cannot get a print to come out clear. the ink keeps spreading out all into the design. and when i lift up the screen, it sticks and makes a horrible mess. any advice?

I would suggest using a little off contact and only one squeegee of ink.

@@pigskinsandpigtails thanks so much for the reply. thats interesting. here i am trying to get the screen VERY tight against the envelopes so ink doesnt spread underneath the design. and im using a lot of pressure when pulling the squeegee. i will give this a try. i am using 110 screen. i was thinking of stepping up to maybe a 230? i am also using speedball acrylic ink.

@@pigskinsandpigtails Well, there is no close-up there either. It is impossible to see what the texture, detail, and color are from them.

Don't do it, the paint will push out the sticker sheet a few prints into the run and begins to seep from the side of its opening, creating bloated/messed up texts.

Are you using Oracal 651? I use this method to print 200+ boxes at a time and don't have any bleeding!
