When you find error in a screw gauge, before placing the object we have to check, which line of head scale (one of the 50 lines) coincides with the zero of pitch scale (horizontal line). That line is 48 in our case. so only I took 50-48=2div. Since here the error is negative and the correction is positive. so I have taken the error as 2x0.01( LC) =+0.02mm.
