Technically (and fanonically), Bayonetta and Dante are half siblings because Hideki Kamiya made DmC while he was still with Capcom, and then he made Bayonetta when he co founded Platinum Games. Different studios, same dad.
Ohhh that makes sense. That's why they both have styles and Devil Trigger = Climax. And it seems in DmC which the protagonists are men he focused on sex appeal while with Bayonetta he focused on sexy posing and camerawork.
Feras N not much as far as updating this fight is concerned, Dante quite simply outclasses bayonetta by an extreme margin in every possible way ( Dont get me wrong I love bayonetta, but it’s just the truth)

Dante and virgil are the biggest jokes. They weak compared to bayo. Bayo could take both of them at the same time but screw attack wanted dante to win the battle because he's the fan favorite. But don't worry, bayo 3 is coming out and this battle won't mean anything because bayonetta will be on a whole other level. Dante shall be slaughtered in time... and virgil ass next

@@darthvader1569 Mmmmmmmmm..... Sephiroth won entirely through his use of magic. Vergil's Sin Trigger is certainly a step up and gives him a bigger advantage in his already overwhelming advantage in swordsmanship, but it hardly increased his durability to the point where he could take a Supernova and still be able to fight capably afterwards. I agree that in sword-on-sword combat, Vergil would absolutely dominate Sephiroth, and even with a lot of his more basic Materia and magic, Vergil still has too many advantages. But once Sephiroth starts using illusions and whatnot to gain an edge, Vergil has limited ways to balance it out. One Supernova and it's all over for Vergil, and DMC 5 gave him no new ways to counteract it. Maybe if he had foreknowledge of it, he would be able to more quickly react and Yamato his way out, but barring that, Sephiroth still takes that fight more often than not, much to my annoyance.
@@daysand123 Nero now is probably on par or slightly stronger than how Dante and Vergil were before their Sin forms. Keep in mind the Nero vs Vergil fight was AFTER Vergil was beat up from his fight with Dante, hence Nero's boosted damage and Vergil dealing a bit less. I'd say in top form, Vergil and Dante would both be able to beat Nero, but not easily. But they're comfortable in the knowledge that Nero's on his way to surpassing them eventually, so they're willing to sort of step aside as it were and let Nero out from under their respective shadows.
this Death Battle was awesome but they only used one of bayonetta's special killing moves that she has that are way more effective especially on him that she constantly uses through out the game but they only used one actual move that injured him a ton and that was the torture coffin in the beginning and her at the end when she pulled out her Demon so it wasn't really that fair but he may have not used a lot of his abilities either so I can't judge
15:16 That is a medieval torture device called an iron maiden. It's a sarcophagus with spikes in it that target vital organs and also the eyes. It's doesn't kill the occupant instantly it just makes them suffer a slow and painful death. Horrible punishment. I guess we should be glad that that kind of punishment was only use several centuries ago and not now.
Can't wait for a fight between Dante from Devil May Cry V and Bayonetta from the upcoming Bayonetta 3. Dante has the Sin Devil Trigger and the devil sword Dante now.
phantom falcon hard to say really, we know that it’s capable of completely obliterating enemies, and that it makes him nigh-invulnerable, and we aren’t sure if dmc 5 shows the absolute limit of the power, all though we do know that the Yamato can still withstand its power, and Dante can really only use it for a few moments. I’d say whiteout going to in depth, in terms of raw strength he’s probably only a planet buster, but combined with had Dante is still only multiversal, but he can be at that level more consistently now.
@@NCMETAL i.. wouldn't put Dante as a planet buster. We haven't seen him pull anything close to that off. Dante's strength isnt in raw destructive power anyways. It's stocked in raw versatility and insane survivability.
An extra note, Dante only went as far to use his base Devil Trigger. He didn't even pull out his Majin Devil Trigger that he used in Devil May Cry 2., which is far more powerful. Because this is only up to DMC4, he doesn't have his Sin Devil Trigger yet.
Here's the thing though, he used Lucifer which is a High Rank Demon afterall because of that mark on forehead and any enemy especially bosses can't survive against the rapiers/darts, even Berial and Dagon are easy to kill with enough in them.
Vergil would still win. While he'd have more trouble than Dante did, he is still a Son of Sparda AND his own feats include canonically beating Dante at least once.
Bayonetta is awesome, but Dante is the OG. A Son of Sparda is as formidable an opponent as you can get. Kamiya and Itsuno both crafted a uniquely powerful character.

Definitely one of the best fights on death battle. I always thought of Bayonetta as a female version of Dante anyway so this fight makes a lot of sense to happen. I think Jasmine would love playing Bayonetta if she hasn't already.
Just so everyone knows, Lucifer is a high rank demon with that three eyed mark on its forehead so that's why Dante got a win but also the rapiers/darts are so powerful, you can deplete an absurd amount of health from Bosses including Berial, Son of freaking Mundus if you put so many of those things into their body and the Lesser Demons can't survive against its explosions, not even if they have tough shields because while sometimes the blades and projectiles may not work, they can get a little damage inflicted and that shows how dangerous and strong they are, Bayonetta is like a Lesser Demon but isn't a full demon, still a mortal so she wouldn't be able to survive against its power no matter what she does and the darts can disappear and reappear while locking on and can easily stick into her and her clothes don't mean anything but ofc Lucifer may fail at times when there's those shields so it's not exactly flawless.
Every time I see this Death Battle, I can't help but think... How amazing would a crossover with these two series would be? Hell, they both mess around with angels and demons anyway. Bayonetta and Devil May Cry can both fit very well in each other's universes.
They forgot to mention that the Demon Lord he killed in the first game could casually make pocket universes and probably casually destroy them too, meaning that in the first game, Dante essentially beat a god. Then in the second game, he's way more powerful and has a mode where's he's invincible, can fly and shoot lightning. In the new game he's probably even tougher, can't wait to play it.
Dante is killable... Hes not completely invincable but death battle ignored that the shuruba sword sucks out your soul and absorbs it. All bayonettas weapons do physical and spiritual damage..
Now I want to see Vergil vs Bayonetta. Vergil does not have Quicksilver so it would make the fight a bit more interesting He is, however, faster than Dante and an overall better fighter. But if that battle is to come true here, I want Vergil to have his father's sword.
The devil may cry anime is phenomenal I would recommend you reacting to it. Plus Not many people react to it and you'd bring in a new audience. And the 1-4 games are amazing

I know this is old but tbh Bayonetta is weaker than dante. They used the dmc 4 dante and not the dmc 2 dante(the strongest one) and I want all of you to stop and think what would have happened if dante pulled out the yamato right away. The battle itself was one big game for dante.

CF123456 they picked and chose what weapons they gave who but the thing is that they did nerf both and I still stand by my point. I consider bayo to be weaker than dante,now not saying she is not strong, just weaker than him.
Hell he can keep quicksilver (slowing time) activated for a very long time, he could have cut her in 100 piece without her even realising she's been killed. As for sword, if he used his father sword (the sword the blonde girl that helped him used) it would have been a carnage.
kagetsuki23 quicksilver actually stops time for a brief moment and then gradually turns into a slow time ability. But that brief moment is enough time for Dante to kill bayo

Hideki Kamiya was asked who would win in a battle between Bayonetta and Dante, another character he had created from Devil May Cry before hand, due to their similar personalities. He said that Bayonetta would be victorious quite easily, actually.
1. He never stated an official winner. He merely used this to state his dispassionate towards the VS community. 2. Hideaki Kamiya confirmed he has no power over DMC, which Itsuno does.
