The good thing about your tutorials is that you don't give us everything done, you teach us the basics so that we can do it ourselves and that's cool!!!
So this is really great. I did notice if you don't use a hitbox, you can run into some bugs if alll the costumes arent the same dimension. Good tutorial tho!

Q: How do you fix a glitch where if, say, my character touches a wall, then gets stuck there? Been trying to figure this out. EDIT: Nevermind, apparently my laggy computer skipped part of the video when I paused it. Thanks for the tutorial, though!
you should do more tutorials on how to make an rpg that game you showed off at the start was rlly cool and looked fun. You just earned yourself a sub ;)
The only bad thing about this is that if a edge is slitly tilted then the player gets calt on it. But otherwise this is lovely better than griffpaches tutorial on this topic.😀😀😀😎😍😍😘😍😗😘😗😂😶☺

For some reason I cant move down Edit: I realized I put the If this button pressed move down inside of another one Edit: Now I changed it to the custom block and I cant move up or down Edit: I accidentally used a set block instead of a change block
This tutorial was really helpfull, but for some reason when im against a wall and i press a key multiple times i start going into the wall. Do you know how to fix this?
i used to be really good at doing Scratch since its a really easy to learn area its basically the First Step into your Coding adventures through 5 years i went from Scratch to Python to C# and then went onto C++ and rn currently learning Java but recently i had the inspiration to make a full game and because i am so much more of a visual person i wanted to test everything on Scratch and im basically Re-Learning everything in short I feel like i lost my memory from such an easy area

Heyy, great tutorial, i js have 1 question, i have 4 different costumes for walking up down left and right, how can i use them. they are in gif form so its frame by frame
how do you make other sprites in the level like spikes? i tried using 'If touching color ___' but that doesn't work very well. other than that, good tutorial
I know this video is old but I used this to make a maze but the hitboxes are not working. The sprite stops moving a few pixels away from the wall instead of when it hits the wall. Any ideas?
Remember when the variables were changing super fast at 3:06? Well its still doing that for me after I added the go to x: SCROLL X y: SCROLLY for some reason
