The unknown story of Greek philosopher Plato’s death may have been unveiled from a newly deciphered ancient scroll, according to Italian researchers.
The Herculaneum papyrus scrolls were charred after being buried under layers of volcanic ash following the eruption of Mount Vesuvius.
The volcano erupted in 79 AD, killing thousands and destroying Roman settlements near modern-day Naples.
The scrolls continue to be examined by experts using artificial intelligence.

Applying the word "mansplaining" to a man and culture that predates the term by over 2300 years is stupid enough. But actually misusing the term (he was criticizing, not mansplaining) demonstrates abject ignorance.
