Scuba Diving - Catalina Island, Squid, Turtle, Sunfish & Octopus 

Scuba Diving at Catalina Island, Cherry Cove. At the beginning of December 2021, I filmed a squid run at Bird Rock. A couple of weeks later I went back in search of the squid eggs. I found them in 85’ on the sand slope on the east end of Cherry Cove. On this particular dive I also saw a lot of small stuff as well as a turtle, a sunfish and sea lion and much more. The water temp was 54 degrees. My total dive time was 90 minutes.
