So tragic hearing about the young man who lost his life in that river. Thank You Jeremy for investigating for possible hazards in that area and warning others about the danger of cold temperatures in lakes and rivers. The best find of your dive was the golf ball 😉 🤣. The hooch is a dangerous river as some Atlantan know during calm times you won’t find much difficulty but when Buford releases water a different story even more so in that area near the dam

I love that you still show what it is like when you are diving. On some of the other channels it seems like there is less about diving and showing and hearing what you see. It is very relaxing listening and watching. Great job guys.

Good dive Jeremy , didn't get much out of the water for sure , but you did pass on some very valuable information about the state of the river , it's cold temp and underwater hazards. It's a sad time when anyone looses their life in the water or anywhere for that matter , sad to learn of the Kayaker who lost his life there. I've seen first hand how fast the water comes out of Buford Dam when they open it. I've also had my ears ring from the siren they blow as a warning. FYI for those who've not experienced the Chattahoochee's temps; my toes turned super red inside of 5 minutes, in the middle of July. Really cold water. My hat's off to you, for braving it to dive. 🥶

Good content. A Public Service Announcement (PSA.). It may benefit someone else. I was thinking some one could get snagged on the river trees. There appeared to be clusters of them.

My biggest fear is in a kayak & can't right myself up - drown. So I had no desire to even try. Finds are gr8t even if small finds. It is sad that he lost his life. Stay safe & take care of you all. Thanks for sharing eh :))

Getting trapped in all the underwater trees could very easily cause one to drown. With fast flowing water it can lodge you under things long enough to drown. Stay safe cool dive.

Always possible he got hooked on a tree or. All that metal and it held him under..Have life jacket and knife you can get to fast. Do not have it by you / wear it for god sake ! Your family wants you to live.
