Scuba Diving Salt Point State Park Urchin Barrens Recorded June 2021

This video was recorded on June 27, 2021 at Gerstle Cove, an underwater marine reserve within Salt Point State Park, California. The rocks in this marine reserve are almost completely covered with small purple sea urchins, with very little kelp. The video was recorded about 20 feet deep. A total of three abalone were spotted during the one tank dive. There were also schools of small rockfish seen.
