I actually have fallen asleep to this video multiple times. I love videos where someone works to relaxing music. They are my favorite kind and your work is just so beautiful and relaxing, it fills my soul with joy.
I've never seen anyone hold implements quite the way you do. It's very impressive to me because I could never imagine my hands having enough dexterity in that position to execute the amazing detail you do in your work. Your pieces are so beautifully realistic, I have no problem imagining the real life animal like I do with typical renderings of extict animals. You really bring the animals to life!

Great job Kayakasaurus! This Pinacosaurus looks incredible. I honestly would never be able to do this. That is the truth. I'm only 11, so I probably wouldn't have been able to. Yeah.
Very cool! I initially was planning to make a pinacosaurus diorama with a family of velociraptors attacking it a few months ago. I eventually forgot about the project and forgot to finish the custom paints on the figures. I remember when I watched your custom painting tutorials to learn how to paint my figures! DinoTube is such a fun community!

I like the new ‘narration’ style as if this Dino is an avatar playing through a video game and getting upgrades as it goes. Even if it was just a few spots of text, it was cute and made the video a bit more fun and playful.

I'm curious, is the mod ARK Additions (for the game ARK: Survival Evolved) accurate on the Acrocanthosaurus? If so, it would be so cool if you sculpted one of them. I love how the Ark Additions version looks, but all the images I've seen on the Acro have it a bit bulkier, especially in the neck, so I'm guessing the creator took some creative liberties with the creature, as Wildcard did with the official creatures in Ark.
Broooooo this reminds me of something! One time a went to IKEA to buy a coffee table to put some of my video gaming stuff on and put it in the loft, and I found this really really pretty one, so I put it in the loft and it was really great! Then my cats started eating all the pretty plants I put in the loft and I got really sad. Then the coffee table started moving and I realized, it wasn't a coffee table, it was a pinacosaurus, and it was the one eating my plants, how foolish of me to think it was my cats! TL;DR: Everybody gangsta 'till the coffee tables start walkin'.
now here's an idea. Instead of making a small version or a life-sized juvenile dino, you could take something like a Guanlong or Oviraptor and make a life-sized bust of it. Or, you could sculpt only the life-sized head of a larger creature, like Baryonyx for instance, or maybe a small sauropod.
Well, I did not know that you could harden the plasticine with alcohol, you are the best, I am bilingual and I know a Spanish channel that will support you a lot. Se llama un poco de todo jajajaja
The isopropyl alcohol smooths polymer clay by dissolving it, getting rid of the tool marks and bits of clay. Then I bake it after detailing a section to harden it.
Really interesting. I have sculptured, drew and painted dinosaurs and this is a work of art. What was the drying time between each step? And didi you ever paint it? The one section of the video that I wish had more detail was the creation of the Pinacosaurus's head. The finishing of it was excellent!
i'm curious about handling- once you've detailed areas and done an alcohol wash, it seems like you can hold it in your hands and turn it around, etc. without fear of damaging areas. are you baking it or spot hardening with a heat gun or other heat source in between?
Well done probably the best pinacosaurus i've seen yet you made me recondisered to draw him but tho for all artist ngl ankylosauridae are a pain in the ass to draw but i imagine making a sculpture of it oof
