Some people are very talented.... and I am for a 100% sure you are one of them.... amazing work! He is so realistic... Just like in the movie.... im a big fan of star wars, and im also a fan of youre work!!!!!😎😋💪
+LoreCraft I found you channel by lookig for star wars trailer, and now I screw trailer and instead of an that i watch all your videos! Amazing Job. Keep creating, and sharing of course!
Thanks, friend. His head is pretty large - definitely human lifesize, which is what I think he is. The circumference of his cranium is larger than the average humans, which is what I aimed for. Bulbous dome :D
THIS IS AMAZING, I ALWAYS SHARE YOUR VIDEOS, YOUR SO DAMN TALENTED, and the fact you invest so much of your time and effort into these sculptures, if you do it for fun that’s amazing, if you want this for work, keep going hard, I believe in you🖤 much love from canada.
+Levi Klaver thank You!!! I am trying!! Need more patrons to step forward and just throw a dollar or 2 at this. With just a fraction of my subs doing that I could do this full time in a real workshop. It definitely is what I'd rather be doing. I am actually doing a PhD in behavioural sciences, and I'm trained in Neuro imaging, but doing this has felt more rewarding than any of that ever has. Hope I can do the cross over! Thanks for the encouragement!
Amazing work as always! Those eyebrow hairs looked very tedious. Brilliant how much detail you can put into a character when there isn't much about him floating around.
Appreciate you noticing - it WAS tedious. Especially the mistakes, where the glue absorbed the hairs and matted them and I had to start over, or when they stuck to the tool instead of the sculpt :P And aye, it was challenging getting the right pics to work from.
Im not a really a big fan of Star Wars and all.. but this is just over amazing. I'm proud for you. I wouldn't even be able to do that. Keep up what you are doing. It's amazing❤❤❤
Rosebud DubxX thanks, friend. Working hard for every sub I get. I put some sweat and tears into these (And blood too as I've been cut plenty of times doing this). Trying to raise the bar on the sculpting channels. Thanks for noticing and best to you.
I can try to manoeuvre the camera into some other spots that make sense. I can't do overhead because there's nowhere to clip the camera holder :( Maybe someday
Wow that's amazing!!!! They should have hired you to make snoke for the movie! This is way more impressive and a lot scarier than video game snoke that's in the movie
Well, this sculpture in particular has one of my lowest like scores at 91% likes, which isn't all that bad, but it did make me wonder. Truth is, there are so many people that hate The Last Jedi, I think it's just reactionary spillover. I have no relationship with Disney, I don't work in the film industry, I'm just a guy making sculptures - I'm not responsible for what happened with that film or what they did with this promising character. But that's not what's possessing their clicker finger and their feels. For a lot of people this character represents ruined potential and violated childhood dreams. There's a lot of passionate SW fans that feel deeply betrayed and wrathful about what Disney has done to the Star Wars franchise. If you ever get into making videos on RU-vid, you'll learn an awful lot really quick about collective social behaviour. Some of the crazy shit you see pop up in comments sometimes beggars belief.
Great work!! I loved your life size sculpt and the painting technics used! I am doing a 1/6 scale figure of Snoke (Full body and throne. Hot toys type) and now I am in the bust painting process. I am currently using your approach to painting it as it looks really real and the effects on the skin to make it look old and crippled are great. I hope that mine looks as good as yours!! And I loved how you implemented the fake eyebrows (when i began working on mine, that was my intention too and I loved to be able to see the result beforehand!). I will be watching your work for sure. Keep your talent running and growing!!
LoreCraft I meant fake in the sense of glued on! I explained myself bad, maybe. If you used real hair for the eyebrows, you just had the same thinking as I had in my design, though. You're welcome!
I love watching you at work. You have a big talent. I admire you for your abilities and patience ... You are a true artist ... :) Regards from Poland ;)
I can't believe I just found you now. I would donate, but unfortunately I don't have a credit card. I can see you are so dedicated to your art and videos. So talented. Keep up the amazing work! 🙌👏👌
Your work is amazing! And don't worry about views... you're doing what you love, the rest will fall into place! Engagement is key...stay in touch with people on social media, every like, dislike, comment and share counts to make you more visible. Best of luck!!
+Kendra Patocki thanks, Kendra. I have to be concerned because, well, if people don't watch, I can't afford to make more. It hasn't gotten to that point yet, thankfully. Going to think about this situation a bit. I hit the pause button, wondering what to make next, because I was sure this would do well. The videos have to do well if I'm going to be able to keep making more.
You are amazing i like to see your work. Sorry for my bad english Why do i say that its two words to say Amazing work Keep doing that work what you do in this video ♥️ Greetings from The Netherlands or Holland
I COMPLETELY AGREE!!! Hey lorecraft! I just found ur Chanel, I loved this sculpt as it was so well done! I also love TLJ, so I would like to ask, could you do the dreadnaught ship from it? If u search '1st order dreadnought' into a search engine you should see it, I know you don't usually do robotics or cars or spaceships but I would love to see it as the dreadnought is my favourite, hope you see this! :D
I'm always so frickin' impressed when you put up a video. Like, please keep doing this I bet you'll get enough for a nice studio someday. Also, I really hoped you liked The Last Jedi as much as I did (assuming you've seen it, that is)
hey LoreCraft, you may or may not remember me from a video from awhile ago but i just came by to say thank you, I've been doing a lot of work lately and finally got around to making my first sculpture, it was a beholder death tyrant d&d miniature. i just wanted to say that you. you've been a great inspiration and a great help when it comes to ideas for improvement! keep up the beautiful work and continue to aspire for even better works in the future.
no problem, and of course i will try to keeps that in mind the next time i need tips or tricks on an up coming project or if i just wanna compare strategies!
thanks, Bread Guy. Working hard to earn my subs! I try to make realistic, intense, serious sculpts as best I can. Learning as I go. It's really hard to find my audience, so feel free to share my work and spread the word to other sculpting enthusiasts.
Breaching to the choir. Own studio for any artist would be a dream. With sculpting, from my perspective, it would give chance for mold making and casting. And ofc overall nice improvement to get a dedicated room. Great job again would have toned the sculpt a bit different, but might just be the camera compared to the picture that makes the difference.
