I am glad to see they brought the zoom back for the compound bow. It might be a noob bow but, it's my favorite. I've got mine adjusted up to 100#. It works really good for terrorizing chickens and fluffy bunnies with. I've even got a couple of goats with it. The chickens are good for Peking Duck. Running around killing chickens I've found a couple of good spots for mushrooms also. The hordes have been a lot better for me now. Since the puppet rework I'm not carrying a rifle now. I just carry a Katana and a compound bow. I'm getting the achievements for killing animals and puppets with bows. I like the last 2 for animals and the last one for puppets. My main problem is still the garden. I just built a 10x10 and planted 12 plants. The extra room gives me the option to add more plants and maybe trees. I try to grow what I need for the recipes I cook.
Last time I was at a castle I was finding a lot of the metal swords which we can craft. idk if that was a mistake and the devs put that in the loot table instead of the medieval sword? Coz I found none of the Medieval swords at all, and in the whole game, I have never found crafted items as loot before.
Maybe I’m alone in this but I feel like the horde system takes more away from the game than it added. The manual spawn rate adjustment prior to hordes was better and felt more balanced. But that’s just my experience.
not being alone is saying he Bow is Op and only shit players use it that puts me at odd against 99.9% of the entire Scum playerbadse and meta at the moment and forseeable futture.
Before this disaster, I could adjust pawns to any number I wanted. I had massive hoards with 2-6x damage, depending on preferences and experience of friends playing. Now the "hoards" just magically pop up. It looks awful, and feels more like a massive constant glitch than a properly functioning feature. I can't believe the devs made a decision this awful. I've really tried to jump back into Scum, but it seems the devs have willfully sabotaged their own game. It had potential to be a masterpiece, but with all the long term issues, and now this, I think the game is dead.
I don't remember seeing a compound bow, a military quiver (capable of having 3 sets of arrows) or a silencer and stabilizer at the castle, so in my eyes, the best place remains the bunkers. je ne me souviens pas d'avoir vu d'arc à poulie, de carquois militaire (capable d'avoir 3 lots de flèches) ni de silencieux et stabilisateur au château, donc à mes yeux, le meilleur endroit reste les bunkers.
Puppets spawning in my face or directly behind me at a distance I have no hope of avoiding and being triggered immediately is my biggest issue right now, it's super frustrating. It takes away from the immersion considerably.

I like both bow's to be honest. I like taking the 100# into bunkers and the compound bow when I'm out looting. I really think 1.0 is still a long way off 2025 I thinking. It just seems to me that every update causes more problems that the Dev's have to fix, they keep adding more and more stuff to the game but do we really need anymore weapons, vehicles, clothes and food in the game? 🤔
