Also worth noting in this context is that the spools of fishing line can be used to make sewing kits instead of thread and that now you can also combine rolls that might be short of enough alone to make a kit.
It was literally today that I discovered I had to use duct tape to repair my raincoats. It might be useful to point out that armored items (combat helmets, stab-proof/bulletproof/tactical armor vests) all use toolkits for repairs (no drill press required). Thanks for vids on the little details, RK!
I consider the sewing kit the most important thing i need when i start this game. Need to craft the improvised backpack, which i use as many as i can to organise stuff when i only hv a small chest.
Ive noticed that the clothes and backpacks in the game have some pretty good visual effects for being worn and tattered and when you use the improvised sewing kits they will be repaired but retain a visual effect of being stitched and patched up. If you use the regular sewing kit does it repair things to a like new condition or does it still have the same visual effects?
When the clothing item gets below 70% durability, it will look cut and tattered. Repairing it at this point will make it look patched up and sewed. If you repair an item above 70%, the item will be repaired without looking cut and tattered.
Nice video bro! Hope one day you can make video about showing us some various outfits and telling us their armor stats etc… like some people putting biker leather jacket under their jacket to stop puppets dmg ..
Wish you could sprint while having the hazmat suit cause I heard sooner or later the devs will make radioactive clouds that can spread randomly around the world, that will be creepy, and of course more realistic and of course, good luck out there scummers and a Happy New Year to you all! 💪❤
Yeah, who knows, maybe they will add new gear to decontaminate temporarely the radiation from the power plant nuclear to loot safely for a while, that will be cool
My problem is I forget to keep an eye on things. I've lost a bunch of gloves, shoes, knives, and axes from wearing them down to 0%. If necessary I do repair them to 50%. I usually keep enough around I don't have to though.
Another related tip occurred to me while looting today; bone needles are easy to get as you suggested but if you search you might discover that finding a needle in a haystack is not terribly difficult in SCUM.
Yo are a great content creator of scum, i see al the videos in you channel when i start in scum, but its so sad see how really you are in you server, and the admin abuse u make to others.
I'm sorry you believe everything you see or hear online. Every player that's banned is always "admin abuse" Thank you for enjoying my content. Happy new year piojinn.
Unrelated to the video but i cant find any informatrion about it. I just started playing scum and I built my first base. Yesterday I was coming back to my base after looting the navy base in A4. As I opened my door I got blown up and a landmine. I was under the impression other players could not place items in my flag zone. Do you know anything about it?
