@The Shop - Mini Rc this may be stupid but some help would be great. my sons scx24 battery is 450mah what do i set it on on his lipo charger as the charger only allows me 0.3A and 0.4A. thanks for any help

Either is fine. You typically don’t want to charge much higher than 0.1 amp per 100mah. Many charge at double when ina hurry to charge most of the time. So for a 450mah 0.4 or even 0.5 amps is fine. Just never charge more than double the standard (ie never charge your 450mah battery at over 0.9amps)

I'm not trying to be mean bro but I'm trying to watch like three or four of your instructional videos already and can't watch them because of the voice over thing you do. I don't know if you're speeding up the video or what but it just kind of makes me nauseous the way it sounds like you're drowning underwater. I can't watch the videos as much as I want to.

You can try watching at .75x speed. It might help. Part of it is the sound in the room (there is some reverb as the room is smaller and not sound proofed.) Please let me know if slowing the video down to .75 helps. We are also going to look at a new microphone. Thanks a ton for the feedback, we want to improve where we can!!

@@TheShopMiniRC I tried the speed and it didn't do much. You're right though, it is like a bit of reverb or chorus with the mic. Perhaps try some foam on the mic or a spit screen. Or some adjustments in the program you're using. I listen to video's on my fancy Grado's, so I get every little fault in the audio :D At 5:07, there's a hell of a squeal that comes in. Sounds like a dog whistle! LOL! Just some cheap foam hanging from the ceiling or in front of a couple side walls will help with the sound in your small room. I, like I believe Adam as well, just mention it as you've helped us and it's a way to pay you back. You're a new channel so don't sweat it too much. Good info and content takes the cake over all the flashy, unnecessary nonsense. :)

Do you like the JST plug best for these 1/24th trucks and batt's over the stock style? They certainly are bigger and look as if they'd be easier to grip?

I definitely do. They aren’t too big and they are easy to deal with. (Both plugging and unplugging and building the plug itself.

Thank you for another great video! Have you thought about just crimping on new connections? I am currently working through how to attach new connections on my servos to fit the JST PH 3 pin to fit my Flysky Noble micro receiver.

Yep, I do that some times as well. Just buy a connector kit for the appropriate plug and bam, new connector.

Have you got a favourite battery for the SCX24's? I've seen some say whatever is cheap and others say this or that brand is 'better' and worth the extra $. And is a 2C 350mah the biggest that fits well? Thanks!

we have used all of these: $21 - 7.4V Lipo Battery 2S 1000mAh: 35C Battery: amzn.to/3LFZySR $23 - 400mAh 2S 7.4V 30C LiPo Battery Pack with JST Plug for Micro FPV Racing Drone Quadcopter: amzn.to/3sh20YB $30 - Venom Fly 30C 2S 430mAh 7.4V LiPo Battery with JST and E-flite PH Plug: amzn.to/3MQm0cz We like the blue 400mAh for the belly dragger as they fit well on the skid plate The 1000mAhs are used in just about everything else. They are basically the same size as stock, just a little more thick. If we were worried about weight or fitting, we would probably go with the venoms or just stock. There are a lot of options.

@@TheShopMiniRC Thanks very much! Didn't know you could get a 1000mah that would fit in an SCX24! And those blue 400mahs look good for keeping the top side weight low. I'll see what's available up here on amazon Canada. The blue 400mah one are $80 CDN!!! Ouch! You guys are luck down there! Venom is bankrupt so they're off the list. Funny enough the 1000mah ones are very comparable $ up here. Thanks once again!
