It's been a little while but, if my memory serves me it was a small dash of WD40 using a mild brush to get into the groves and a kitchen towel and cotton buds to polish... don't forget this might not work on older guitars as WD40 could damage the paint.... test it first...on the frets I used 3,000 grit sand paper and a fret eraser.... I was very found of this guitar. Thanks for the question.
