Its 2021, just got a Deadpool for xmas from myself!!! I went and tested all the new pins except Ghostbusters!! Deadpool is better than any other!!! So many satisfying shots that flow incredible !!!
yep....ive played since 63 and at 70 got the one at a local arcade up to 273 million which put me at #4 for a while. Then some wippersnapper topped me. p.s. im really 70.
As someone who once collected Comic books AND baseball cards, this cracked me up. The pinball though takes the cake. We are 1%er nerds. Mega-Uber nerds. I embrace it. It has worked for me.
I liked this review...until the confusion between Colossus and Cable. That was painful to watch. I'm not sure commenting/grading on theme when you get those confused is such a good idea.
Thank you for another informative and entertaining review. I really enjoy my deadpool. On this title I think Premium/LE is the way to go. Can't wait for that review. Deadpool Pro is a good game. Code will no doubt make this game even better. Thanks SDTM! Best damn pinball show!!!!! You guys are getting really professional with all of the special effects and edits. Great job. Thanks again 👍👍👍
You all probably dont give a damn but does anybody know a trick to log back into an instagram account? I was dumb forgot the account password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me.
@Lennon Louis i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and Im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Wow, finally played one last weekend on location. Was set up step for tournament play. I loved the front left ramp! Didn't find it cheap. I liked DP better than IM ✌🏻
Thank you for reviewing this game. Very good episode and great review! Hoping the code gets better and I think it will. We like it because it seems a bit different than our other pins. We have the premium on order, and had to get this one because of the theme. This is #8 in our collection and is going next to the life-size Deadpool.
Hey, guys! Very good review! Love all the extras! I got the opportunity to play Deadpool on location today. I enjoyed it, but, after a few games, I started wishing it would quit awarding me free games. (I played for an hour-and-a-half on one credit.) I do like the katana ramp a little more than you guys. It was fun to hit and had fun trying to hit it. I don't mind the right orbit - didn't really have much problem with it. The only time I hit the snikt! ricochet target was during multiball and only knew I'd hit it when I noticed the multiplier flashing. Happened a couple times. I was never able to hit it on purpose. I feel a little like Greg: something is missing. For me, it was when nothing was lit (and I mean absolutely nothing): not in a battle, already completed multiballs, etc. I was thinking "what the f should I shoot for?" I think it's a great layout, has fantastic art and is an overall SOLID game. Just my $0.02. Love the show and keep up the great work!
@@SDTM Well off course Zach review also, it’s just that Greg’s eyes shine/sparkle every time you guys say Deadpool and Lethal Weapon 3. Would be great with an update on this pin with newest code and all the games put in. Zach love your work buddy 🤗🍻
I'd love to hear some four letter dialogue on this pinball machine. There should be language settings; hell, even The Machine: Bride of Pinbot has a family mode. I'm not too crazy about the voice on the Lil' Deadpool feature, too. The classic William's sound effects are a treat for all us pinball dinos.
I played this pin and in my opinion it's my favorite pin right now, it's funny, beautiful and fun to play, even though I went and purchased me one PRO version as my first pin purchase ever and ATTACK FROM MARS special edition (remake).
Finally got to spend some time with this game today. I agree with everything you guys said...and I loved it. Had a blast playing and got a "one more game" feel from it all day long. Maybe that'll change in time, but right now, I'm loving the hell out of it.
@@SDTM It's definitely got a quirkiness to it, but that might be why it's working for me. To be fair though, in an arcade setting I can barely hear the call-outs, so that probably helps.
Guys can you maybe do a Gomez this or that... possibly Deadpool vs avengers or Deadpool vs Sopranos.... just a thought. Can you also fit in a guardians pro vs Deadpool pro. Great job guys. Ps the sopranos vs ? Would be interesting as Sopranos does have some flowy smooth shots.
I don't doubt that this is happening on your game, I just haven't had the same issue on our game yet. It's currently pretty easy to hit. I have played another operators game in town and also didn't seem to have any problem hitting that shot cleanly. Wonder if that will change over time. That is concerning that as the game ages and gets older, with the flippers weaker, will that shot become unmakeable or not. Thanks for the review. Love watching you guys over my morning coffee.
I know, that's what I mean. I hadn't even noticed that on the deadpools that I've played in the portland area, or watching on the stream. But I know that you guys are thorough and wouldn't just report b.s. Makes me worried that they will all eventually become that clunky and unmakeable. And I agree with your assessment in that regard. If that shot becomes a pain in the ass to clear, it really ruins that game. Not only is it the main multiball shot, but it's also the coolest mech and the most interesting and satifying shot to hit. It HAS to work better than what you guys were describing for this pin to have legs.
I enjoyed this review and feel it was very fair and accurate. I hoping with code updates this game will get better and better. Not sure if I want to own this in current state but love playing it on location.
Jokes fall flat on a Deadpool game, I'm out. That is Deadpool. I haven't played it enough to focus on the call outs and potential humor I would expect, I've played this a few times at a local bowling alley. What I can say is there is so much potential here! The game just didn't feel like it flowed very well. It could be me and my lack of experience with this game but something tells me I don't think so. I played the old Roller Coaster Tycoon for the first time right before it and it felt so much better, although it looked horrible in comparison.
Guys I’ve put some serious games on this... games don’t always have to have flow... I think there is too much emphasis on it. The colossus shnick shot and right ramp are typical Gomez... you gotta hit em pefect for em to work.... a much better game now than Munsters.
Code has really improved and is pretty damn good and if you take time tweaking for the sweet spot for that katana ramp it become reliable! I just bought one myself! (Greg)
Jason Rainwater ha ha I wouldn’t expect that! But I may come over one day and play the hell out of it and get some footage! We’re still figuring out how we’re going to handle the different reviews!
You should never review a game with early code. It will improve in nearly all departments later. Unless you plan on doing another review later. First Thoughts would be better for a game at this early stage.
VirtuaPinball we revisit games and adjust the reviews of needed at the end of the year! It’s harder then you think to wait to review a game till code is complete because you never know when it will be complete.....or how complete! Look at Kiss! Or even TWD. Code was updated for it again last year. It wasn’t major but it did have a pretty big impact on getting to last man standing!
