Hi, I'm Belgian and I'm living in Marbella, Spain, for about 80% of the the year. 12 years ago I took some Spanish lessons (2 years out of 5) but finally abandoned it, because of the lack of possibility to practice this beautiful language. I'm trying to pick it up again now, but 12 years is a long time, and furthermore, most people speak English here, even the Spanish ones. So I saw your first vid and it's so well done that I definitely am going to see them all ! Thanks for all the effort you've put in them!

A good deal, but I came across your unbiased review of Rosetta Stone and your course info. FREE is even better and I like the worksheets at the end of the lesson. I have some basic Spanish knowledge but have a long way to go and four children to learn Spanish with. We have a good foundation of German (speaking and grammar too), so I think we may have a good chance with your course. I am really looking forward to this!
This is exactly the style of presentation of a lesson that i'm super comfortable with.... Have done a bit of research looking at quite a few styles of how to learn and this looks pretty awesome. I think with this style I can make massive leaps towards being able to hold a conversation in Spanish. Muchas gracias

Hey great videos man, i'm a teacher myself - BA in Primary Ed but i want to venture into ESL learning as well - everyone in the know recommended me to take a course, all costing a significant amount of money so i'm glad I found this on here! Spanish isn't really a necessity out here in Australia but I want to give it a try anyway.

This is great, as long as I omit the "uh" sound you put at the end of each letter sound. When you insert "uh" at the end of the consonant, you are adding a vowel at the end which ends up being inaccurate. Thanks just the same!! Other than that, very good.
this is my first video, i just watched your review on rosetta stone review. so obviously im a beginner lol. ive wanted to learn spanish for forever now but havent taken the initiative. should i try to do a video everyday? or would it help me if i watched the same video three times a day and then move onto a different lesson the next day?
In fact "V" sounds exactly the same as "B" in Mexico and Latinamerica whereas in Spain "V" does sound as English. ¡Saludos! I got to this video watching your Rosetta Stone review. >_
If you still didn't find it: under the video, the date on which it was posted is seen in bold. In this case, it says "Published on September 20, 2014". On the bottom of that same textbox the phrase "show more" is in grey. Click that, and you'll see the full link to the worksheets he's talking about. Click on the hyperlink, and it will take you to a new tab with the worksheet. You can do this with any RU-vid video that has extra information in that textbox. :)
Una duda por que pones la Y como vocal ? creo que no deberias ponerla como vocal ya que podrias confundir a la gente gramaticalmente, y siendo sinceros si una persona estuviera en medio de una conversacion con personas que hablan español y dijera que la Y es vocal lo voltearian a ver con cara de WTF y a lo mejor se reirian un poco,no todos obviamente pero si algunos. Pienso que explicaste muy bien los diferentes sonidos y casos con la C , podrias hacer lo mismo con la Y, si es para que se entienda mejor la relacion con el AND aclarandolo es mas que suficiente.

What is your methodology to keep students engaged and interested or are they?I'm glad you studied Spanish and have a chance to live altogether for a period of 3 years between Madrid and Ciudad de Mexico, me parece un poco extrano tu comentrio del sonido de la 'I griega o y'.... en yo-yo por ejemplo. Sin embargo, ya le habia escuchado a un estudiante mio mencionar Senor Hey, pero no habia reparado que era un professor con un canal. Es correcto y apropiado tener una leccion solamente dedicada al alfabeto y sus sonidos ya que por lo general los libros de texto empiezan asumiendo que los sonidos son faciles, sencillos y conocidos y luego son los problemas de alguien que puede completer ejercicios del cuaderno de ejercicio pero no puede hablar o no suena ni remotamente como un hispano hablante. Me voy a suscribir a tu canal. Gracias. MLM
