here is a look inside one of the rocks we collected on one of the first rainy rockhounding trips of this season, I had a good feeling about it and after a slice open on the saw I'm sure we have a nice piece of nephrite ! there are a lot of serpentine mixes in this watershed and serpentine belt that surrounds, but ive been searching and sorting and this one had the shape weight hardness, and was just ugly enough on the outside I knew it was probably going to be green gold inside ! its not a boulder but still fun to have a chunk of local jade ! love me the green stones !! thanks for sharing this little discovery with me !!
