***** They are nearly impossible to keep in a tank as they tend to only eat certain species of sponges, also some of them can secrete a toxic substance that could possibly damage other inhabitants.
They can be quite easily kept in a marine tank with moderate level of expertise. They are less hardy then the common 'sea hare' which many marine hobbyists keep, but do have the same toxic decomposition if it dies. (Though this can be reduced if you take it out of the tank when you find it to have died). Hey have very similar feeding requirements but add far less to your cleanup crew than a sea hare, which is bigger and eats more. The difficulty to getting one of these is that they are quite rare, most places can't get hold of any legally, and those that can don't get them cheap.
when i saw sea bunnies, i fell in love, it was like a gift from the Freddy above. they are super cool, they make me feel glad and i like that because i hate being sad
Oh, Sea Slugs, of course. I thought the preview of the video showed it was covered in mold spores, until I saw the first full-sized frame of the video. This is only 1 of the TONS of awesome looking sea slugs. It's cool to see a video of it, rather than just a picture, it really does look like it has rabbit ears.
That is not from Japon. They can be found throughout the Indo-Pacific, from South Africa to the central Pacific. You can't it eat, it's poisonous Dosn't live more than one year Them are hermaphrodite Sorry for my english :Þ
I wish I could get one myself but they say that they're not fit for being pets, they don't live very long (I think up to a year), and they're HIGHLY poisonous. :(
