Let's not forget that cursebeard is probably one of the oldest people in the arcane universe being alive since the war era before people had even discovered how to use circles.
not sure if he was alive since the war ages but he's been alive since the golden era of magic, the only few other characters the predate cursebeard are any significant kings or conqueros from the war ages (who predated the magic age) or straight up, gods
4:36 They weren't shot up to space. The grand fire curses only shoot up to space when ejected from the user when they die. Taking the lore doc word for word, it would be a few of the grand fire curses so not even all of them. 6:40 Unbound curses are not canon, they are from Arcane Reborn, a fan remake of Arcane Adventures. Vetex said himself that he doesn't know what unbound curses are.
@@historicflame972 the term unbound curse was made by players since they didn't understand how ramses was given the curse, he doesn't know/remember what unbound curses are at all
thanks for debunking btw im a bit confused about the unbound curses part cause i didn’t play aa myself just to be sure, durza let undead ramses “borrow” the sand curse, right?
nice video but you made a few mistakes here 1. supercurses arent made by smashing two of them together, they're made when you touch multiple sea cursess at the same time. cursebeard made his supercurse by touching 4 of them at the same time. he jumped off a mountain to do this 2. grand fire curses arent 'specialty curses', they're the only ones of their kind. 3. they were not shot into space on creation, they are just so powerful that when a user of one dies it is shot into space. if that was the case then we have somehow had one, maybe two instances of space travel (morock, and possibly warren) also yes, the promethean fire curse is the strongest curse
1. The supercurse lore within the video is just trivia that techlevel gave, the only actual possible method is the one cursebeard used so you're partially correct 2. They're strong enough to be considered 'specialty curses', they were infused with the most of prometheus' powers. The subheading and explanation only exists because people would be confused about what the grandfire curses are, and also, every curse can be considered 'one of a kind' 3. correct
The prometheon fire curse isn’t really the strongest out of them all it’s just that it has the same properties of the other grand fires but it isn’t as potent as the rest
@@trollman5457 it is the strongest curse in existence. as well as being the strongest magic. the description for the magic says that it was there before the gods, and the curse reflects the magic
I hate the fact that Vetex loves to kill the most powerful curse users/characters in the story so Warren is probably going to die in Arcane Odyssey(I know it's not confirmed but it's very likely he has the Inferno curse)
I'm pretty sure its confirmed that he has the inferno curse. Not directly but if you were paying attention to the scene after you arrive on windrow, he can fly with blue fire, and he's over hundreds of years old. That's almost a dead giveaway
Wait so cursebeards curse then got shot up to space meaning there is a super curse out there in the arcane universe I wonder if that’s a super end game thing the protagonist can get or some important character gets
Death magic I believe was a mutation of shadow and wind? Magic. So it’s curse variant would probably be a super beefed up version of this shadow wind mutation. Keep in mind the flare magic Iris uses is a mutation of fire and light magic of all things and it’s completely different from both magics in function being a low damage(light) high dot applier(fire)
@@stereotypicalguy420 nah no way the events of arcane adventures happen and in a side of the earth completely unrelated to war seas although there is a slight chance that the peacekeeper made his way here it's very very unlikely as it's probably only cursebeard who had ever come here
@@blikxy6043General Zaix most likely killed General Averill (the swordsman). When you look into the crater, he is impaled by a very specialized green blade (most likely inspired in part my Dracula Mihawk) and across from him was a person killed by blunt force impact into a wall. What I assume is he is shot into a wall by a dying General Zaix who due to being a martial artist uses either a shot or axe-slash attack, and it may have been powered up by the Wave Curse (which Zaix is stated to have). This causes the fight to be a trade. The last few words were written with blood, most likely from the same wound left by the sword.
What about curse users like Randal and Beringer? I mean their curses seem elemental in nature, but there is no "growth magic" or "cloud magic". Does this mean that a curse doesnt need a magic counterpart to be considered elemental? Or perhaps we could see growth or cloud magic as their own forms of lost magic in the future.
Every magic has their curse counterpart but not every curse has a magic counterpart (Some examples of said curse being Shockwave, Energy, Absorption and Lazarus). As for your question, cloud magic used to exist but got retconned by vetex. As for growth, it's magic counterpart is either life or plant magic or a combination of both (Or maybe it also falls under the no counterpart curse).
@@Enrizugrowth curse gotta be an external curse. It can create wood, yet it isn't half wood magic or anything like that. There is simply no "growth counterpart" As for the cloud magic, it could likely become a lost or ancient magic futurely
@@The_Copper_Element_Itself wonder how cloud magic gonna work if it ever come in the future since the old lore states that it deals low damage but is hella massive and allows the user to skywalk, kinda.
oh yeah, i found the info behind cloud magic, here it is : A condensed form of Water Magic and Wind Magic that allows the user to create clouds of all sorts of densities for a wide variety of support abilities. The personality traits speculated to cause someone to gain Cloud Magic are Free, Unpredictable, Calming, Beautiful, Stunning, Relaxing, Fun. Damage: Low Casting Speed: Fast Additional Effects: Shroud Boost (increases damage and restores magic energy over time, only while in Looming Shroud) X - Looming Shroud: The user makes a very large cloud, then crashes it down on the battlefield. It has very low damage but greatly obscures vision of all people in it, and even buffs the user's damage. It also automatically regenerates the caster's magic energy. An Ultimate Move. (Keep in mind this was a plan idea during AA era)
in terms of pure power, yes, it is the strongest curse out there in terms of potential, absorption and lazarus have it beat. Absorption can absorb any magic and curse (so long as the user is powerful or quick enough to take it), allowing for essentially infinite growth Lazarus can revive you (if you're lucky enough) and it amplifies your power with each death which is crazy strong, at a certain point you would become stronger than even a promethean fire curse user, the drawback for lazarus being that with each death your chances of dying PERMANENTLY increase
those are kingdom flags some seas have multiple kingdoms, like the nimbus sea containing both Sameria and the Skyhall Kingdoms the flags will fill out when you visit that kingdom's main island, which is why Ravenna is the only one on the brig
@@DarthGaming13 Ok so i can fix this easily also the lore states that each kingdom has like 4-5 Sea Curses in the vault to trade at all times so vetex can just make up like 50-100 different sea curses and u can just kill the previous curse user to steal it
@@hackermanack3393 yea true, I forgot that he could just make some random external curses, tho to have a different one for every player would be difficult
That makes 0 sense, he's literally dead and whenever a curse user dies the curse is shot out of their body and it lands somewhere random on the world, not only that but he died before even reaching dawn island
For that to be true, he would've had to have obtained it from after General Zaix of Ravenna died, also what the other person said too, it wouldn't apply.
cloud and growth curses are *probably* external since according to warren, the growth curse allows randal to turn his body into plants and other growths. cloud is more straight forward, it's a tangible substance so it's very likely elemental, there are also some concepts for cloud magic but they were never listed as mutations, lost magics, or ancient magics
@@aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa0 it's been confirmed. it's been like this throughout all the arcane trilogy except online fighting(the first arcane related game ever) in which everybody can get a curse that spawns in certain locations around the map
@@aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa0it’s confirmed, players won’t ever get curses because it would completely throw the balancing out the window. You are immune to physical attacks, can fly infinitely, plus only one curse exists for each magic, meaning that if one player has a curse, they are the only one who has it.
Devil Fruit but stronger as External Curse user can still swimming in Ocean while Elemental and Super Curse user can't swim and Super Curse user with half of their body touch Sea Water will implode them
If you look at the Arcane Reborn wiki you can see who still has their Sea Curse and see who formally had one, also take in mind that AO takes 1 month after the events at the Seven Seas Cluster since now the Absorption, Earth, Lightning, Explosion, and Sand Curses are up for grabs when found (don't get your hopes up since we the players won't get them) plus its confirmed that the Peacekeeper finds the Absorption Curse and use it to destroy Curses but allowing their friends and trusted individuals like Trigno and Averill keep theirs that being Magma and Light respectively. Neviro's Grandfather, King Kessler Boreas, had the Darkness Curse, the Slash Curse (formally Avery Walker), and Wave Curse (formally General Zaix) are free for grabs now, and King Nero's presumed Aether Curse or some people theorized its the Apocalypse Bringer Curse. Though when it comes to the Sea Curses when a curse user dies, the Curse shoots out to the sky and land somewhere in the world though this process takes hours, days, months, or even years before they find their new resting place.
@@MinecraftShadersandChillI believe parts of them can. King calvus says when u get him to half hp that he's ashamed to use a fraction of his grandfathers power (king Nero who used aether or possibly apocalypse bringer curse) so he probably has a tiny amount of the curse power his grandfather has. It prob decreases over generations tho
