A lot of the intro sequence in the video was pulled from the official Arcane Odyssey Dark Sea launch trailer. You can watch that here: • Arcane Odyssey Dark Se... Thanks for watching.
While your mount Olympus theory is interesting there is a NPC at Palo town who says mount Olympus is a ruin at the bottom of the ocean while the epicenter is most definitely on the surface
as much as I love the dark sea its so buggy. sometimes you find no islands and somehow no tsunamis either, sometimes dark sealed chests never spawn, sometimes it still thinks your in the bronze sea and never gives you insanity, it needs fixing
Who said it was gonna be bug free? There is obviously going to be bugs, he has not stopped doing constant patchnotes. Even if it’s buggy I’ve had the most fun experience ON DAY 1. Bugs are going to happen, don’t think that there will never be bugs.
Agravain is a knight who served King Arthur in the legends and myth. Why might Lancelot be warned of him? It could be connected to the end of Arthur's Reign where he is betrayed by some of his Knights, most notable being Mordred.
At 12:24 you mention Kingslayer and in the text it states "They called him Kingslayer... the Mist Walker... that beast-like mercenary with a blade so evil..." Is it possible that this "evil blade" is Durandal (from AA)? The descripton of Durandal is the following, "A Superpowered Magic Weapon that was once a holy blade used by a proud warrior. It seems to have been corrupted by a forbidden, evil magic since its original owner lost it."
4:06 We know how it was created. There's nothing to theorize about. During Theos' and Durza's clash in 1051, Durza used all of his strength to make one last attack. Unfortunately it ended up colliding with the ground, and destroyed the entire planet, fracturing every continent into islands, and sinking most of the land beneath the waves. The only regions that survived to this day are the Sea Clusters, such as the War Seas and the 7 Seas. Outside of the sea clusters, the entire world consists of the dark sea. The dark sea exists because of the immense amount of magic pollution in the atmosphere, and the water. Durza may have also summoned Chaos to the world, which ravaged it further, but this is just a guess. During the Cursebeard War, Durza, in one last stand, again used all his strength to try and wipe us out. The resulting explosion destroyed him completely, and caused cataclysms all across the world, with earthquakes, tsunami's, and storms raging globally. He even ejected a massive part of the planet into space. Chaos then became attracted to the planet, and almost completely destroyed the entire 7 Seas. These events led to a resurgence of pollution in the dark sea, and it became much more severe compared to previous decades. Olympus was destroyed during the One Shot Pirate's raid. It was completely disintegrated, according to some ghosts. There's also an NPC that mentions that Olympus is below the waves.
i assume durza had the purple theorgist drip (which he probably was also a skeleton) , while theos has his old boomer armor since 179 or whatever 1051-972 is
Btw, the wrath of the gods occurs just a little bit earlier than the events of Arcane Odyssey, so it did NOT create the dark sea, that is a canonic fact. What it did was destroying most of the Seven Seas and outside of it, only weather anomalies happened. At the time of this craziness, the player is presumably losing his memory, or still having it while under experimentation but once the game starts forgets it all. You can talk with an NPC at palo town who will tell you that a bunch of weird and crazy shit happened over the seas some weeks/months before. Saying that tsunamis and heavy rainstorms hit even the driest of places, only to calm down later on. He questions your lack of knowledge of the situation and you tell him you lost your memory exactly during the time of these events, of which he responds by apologizing and explaining it further. This leaves the dark sea to be either created by the downfall of the gods or straight up by durza's first L explosion.
Theos - no brainer, it's our man theos! King Arthur - obviously the one and only Cursebeard Lancelot - Lancelot is a knight from arthurian legend, one of the most well-known, often depicted in the legends as strong as- if not stronger than his king, Arthur. Oh, he also has an affair with Arthur's wife Guinevere because.... Mythology. Agravain - the one who exposes Lancelot's affair and is subsequently killed because of it Kingslayer - the retconned beast himself, torren corvus cross.... Or a wrench thrown in by vetex to give us a headache King cross - hard to pinpoint, but likely torren himself or a relative of his, perhaps even the king he kills to be known by his moniker.
Bro made a hall fucking trailer to update. I was lazy to play all that and didn't want to get spoilers about that but you just revived my interest to this game again. Just few things that i saw with good music in background made me want to play this game again after long time. Thank you dude (4 months passed already but idc)
Kingslayer is Torren who is the strongest human that ever lived and is the 6th unkown and also who possesses the dark flame curse and is between lvl 500k-1m.
I remember once 8n this game I fell of this like, mountain sky island place and a huge fish leviathan thing was in the distance and when he attacked me I almost shat my pants, I have that sea/large things phobia so it was a double whammy of pure negative emotion.
bro i really wanted this feature, where as you get more insane or stay in the dark sea longer, you get visions of argos and king calvus after you kill them, or even if you killed elius when you started the game, you'd get visions of HIM
Honestly I don’t think that could be possible since Mountains are actually weaker than you might expect all it takes is a MOAB and you can terraform it so a blast that killed 80% of all humans of earth in less than a millisecond is not only going close to the speed of light but is powerful enough to eviscerate the mountain unless it only hit the upper area meaning the epicenter is the bottom half which would make more sense
Cthulhu. My personal theory is that it's just Cthulhu who is causing it. Also there are several NPCs that bring up Olympus and it's fall so this theory imo does check out but still imo Cthulhu has a finger in this.
theory: sadly, peacekeeper wont seal the darksea because due to war sea exist, if the peacekeeper seals it, it might something bad happening when its connected 7th seas and war seas for the people
My theory for the dark sea: when the gods died in God of War, they all created calamities, so I can only assume that the gods kept dying and once Zeus and Poseidon died, the Dark Sea became very very dangerous, but then again I’m just some dude who uses pocket sand
Grand fire curse can't be pass down because if a grand fire curse user dies the curse got shoot out into the space making impossible to absorb again. Except if Sir Lancelot use Devourer to pass the curse to Warren its the most possible theory out of me. HOWEVER HOWEVER a Grand fire curse user COULD pass down their grand fire power as a magic to their descendant for example Angel she is the daughter of Morock the Promethean Flame Curse user he manage somehow pass down the curse power into a magic though weaker but it is still very possible
Looking at the dialogue of the ghost who talks about Lance I feel it more likely that Lancelot was fighting the inferno curse user rather than himself being the user
am i the only one that thinks prometheus underestimated arthur and didn't go 100% against him? because if he did, making the grand fire curses in secret wouldn't be needed because he'd already know that the othe types of flames ( promethen flames, dark flames, etc.) wouldn't work on him and that creating curses of them wouldn't make a difference
The only working theory for the dark sea is this - Magic pollution made it an unhabitable wasteland of a sea, (Through Sea Curses Deaths, in general) - An NPC in Sailor's Lodge proves my first point, but doesn't talk about sea curses - Warren is Lord Lancealot, Since he has "Blue, Schorcing Flames" - Agravian is another sea curse user, Probably died in Theos and Azura's clash. - King Arthur / Arthur Cursebeard is dead, sadly killed by the player Wild Events - Atleanans are lost sailors (just like their Lost Sailor Counterparts in ships) or lost warriors, Consumed by the scorching rain of the dark sea. - Tornados are caused by Sea Curse Users (Also, Is it me or is there never Wood, Shadow, Sand and more alive sea curse users magic?) As seen in Blasted Rock. - This is the biggest stretch I'll ever talk about the Epicenter, It's 4x time bigger than revanna and it's supposed to hold level 1500 Legendary Atleanans, and structures
Arthur was killed by Zeus/durza, not the player although he is still dead nonetheless. Agravain in the legends was killed by Lancelot because he exposed lance's affair with Guinevere, Arthur's wife. Looking at the dialogue perhaps the same thing happened here Warren being Lancelot is a neat theory but there isn't really much connecting them aside from the dialogue we got in the dark sea but it could also be interpreted as Lancelot fighting the inferno user rather than him being one himself
18:03 D-D-Deepwoken mentioned????!?!?!?!?!? We've won sharkobros. This surely means that Blazeadon will soon make a video on the greatest game of all time, Deepwoken -- much better than Arcane Midyssey and its Shart Sea. Prepare to answer the phone, folks, for the Deep is calling. 🦈🦈🌊🌊🌊🌊🦈🦈🦈🦈
