Installed these fenders. The first one broke within two weeks. Their garbage don't even bother with them. Look for something else to use for fenders, however this is a nice video for installation of garbage fenders.🙂

A little tip for next time you have to drill into a sensitive area and don't want to go too far. Wrap the drill bit with electrical tape at your max depth to prevent it from going in too far, it'll act as a stopper. Nice job, I'll definitely be adding these to mine. Haven't decided yet if I'll do both sides.

Thank you, that was super helpful. Does this come with 4 mounting plates, or only 2? Also, I have a couple of suggestions for your viewers. 1. Set the drill to slow speed (top switch should be forward; yours was back, set for high speed); 2. use an allen key or manual screw driver to screw in the bolts (otherwise, somebody will inadvertently over-turn and mess up the threads). Great video. Are you actually drilling into the hull, or the rail? I assume if it’s the rail you can feel the screws underneath. If your going into the hull, should you add marine silicone in the holesprior to putting the screws in?

Great job… but use that clutch feature. It’s the one selection on the drill that is a screw. Set that to 9 and go up from there. It stops at resistance increments. 9 setting is pretty good. It won’t over torque or mess up the holes.

Why dont seadoos come with fenders just kinda seems like something they should all have, it feels like a car company selling cars with out bumpers

Hi...thanks for the info. Have the same machine and love it. Could you do a video on the display of this machine and how to personalize the display, change modes etc. I find the manual confusing at best and even BPR doesn't have a good vidoe on this.

You know your drill has a clutch so you can set how much it tightens, right?

I have the 2022 GTR 230. I ordered a set of the snap in fenders a couple of months ago, I haven’t put them on yet.

I would recommend NOT using the drill to tighten the bolts. Also that drill has a clutch. Use it. Plus the manual recommends using silicon on the bolts when installing to stop water intrusion. I have installed MANY. Using drill with no torque limiter is a REALLY bad way to strip the holes. Then you have a BIG problem...

Does anyone find the mounting bracket’s for the bumpers on the rear ones spray a lot of water on the passenger .Just had them installed on our 24 gti and find the rear ones throw off a spray for some reason.

Does the screw go into the body that the rubber strip is sitting on? My bolts are longer than the thickness of the rubber and will penetrate what the rubber is sitting on. 2024 Seadoo GTX Limited

I always see people install only two brackets, wouldn’t it be wise to install the brackets on both sides of the Seadoo?

Can’t SeaDoo come up with something better other then having to drill through your new PWC?

Nice ski bro, I got the same ski but the 2023 170 GTX Sea Doo with a Triton trailer with the mag rims. It's still at the dealership waiting for the dashboard. Did you know that you can add the windshield on your GTX being that I live in Michigan I might install that myself next year. I'm not to keen on drilling holes for fenders/bumpers I got something different it raps around like yours but it suction cups to the ski. After your 10hr. break-in do a video on your top speed please. I'm going to have my own RU-vid channel this summer myself let's keep in touch have fun be safe and Happy Easter ciao for now bro.
