Another totally awesome tip! tied one of these last night and took it to Mount Batten tonight in reasonably high winds and managed to scratch out wrasse pout and my first whiting this year. Also tied a wessex for my friend who also caught pout and whiting, keep up the good work !

Been using this rig for a few years now, cracking rig esp when scratching for fish. Its also good for presenting different baits at the same time if things are tough and your not sure whats being taken. You can vary on hook size from small to 2/0 in my experience.

Cascades are an awesome item for clean to mixed ground, I use a triple on the estuaries but change the bottom hook for a circle to help avoid deep hooked fish...also breakaway lined crimps are another impressive addition to help with your rig adjustment mid session.... great series keep em coming..

I use this rig all the time but I know it as a cascade rig.brilliant rig for distance casting,very tidy.nice vid guys !

Top video as always lads! I like to incorporate a spring on all my clipped rigs , it keeps everything under tension and takes up any stretch in your snoods. Great little bit of kit!

Went along to Pakefield today to try out my new Wakernoster rig. It,,,,,, works,,,,, brilliantly! I can see it being well used later. Nothing doing by the way, the seals followed me from Caister. Crabs still bad there too while further north they are easing off. There was good news however, my amnesia line seems to have got cured and has gone all curly. Doh! Take a little while to make these rigs, probably better off buying Tonys'. Lets have some more awsome rigs ?

TAFishing what about doing that wishbone rig? I think there are some variations on it with extra hooks. Is it for flat fish?

Great looking little rig. I am going to try one as soon as I can get the cascade links. Everyone uses pulley pennels and what a great way of getting more catch opportunities out there on a streamlined rig. Thanks for thinking of us begginers. How much are the links on mail order? Some discussion around hook sizes would interest me. Most people here are using 2/0s or there abouts. I understand competition sea anglers use smaller tackle. A few codling being picked up around Gt Yarmouth but ( 3lb ish ) and also bass in the river. More further south but not keepers. Thank you for a great video.

I never even saw a cascade link myself before this film.I think they could be adapted for uptide casting from a boat.Many new tackle rig innovations have come from the Eastbourne shore and boat anglers.They really pioneer new stuff down that way,and are always thinking of new ways to outwit the fish. More rigs to come from Tony.Keep watching.

TAFishing just made a similar arrangement to this using a continuous length of leader with 3 dropper loops ( thanks for showing us how to do those ) and snoods to suit. The lead has a hanging snap with clip and the release thingamies are just bits of nylon tube with a slot in it for the hook although there must be any number of scrap items that could be used. Seems to release great.

What kind of bait can you put on that rig I cant vision it with a couple strats. Very cool rig though almost guineas .

Traditionally Black Lugworm here in the UK,or Ragworm,or a very thin belly strip of Sandeel whipped onto the hook shank with elasticated thread.Primarily a new rig for distance casting.
