Hi the best way I find to store rigs are on rig winders , less tangles and easy to store .

Very useful thanks. Will be trying that in Pembs as soon as we can get down. Presume best fished with a conti rod and braid mainline?

i use a conti rod with 0.22 mono line and a tapered leader. good luck let us know how you get on please .

Do you not have any issues with the mackerel comin off when you hook it the way you do on the pop up hook?

No issues , as long as the mackerel is not put in and out the freezer , that’s when it can become to soft for the hook .
