Thanks for watching! Its been really cool to connect with some other RU-vidrs that do similar stuff as me, I've learned alot from you and many others just from watching vids. I've been very surprised with this cutter since I bought it, I thought it was possible it may be junk since it was only half price of the big name competitor models but I've hit all sorts of stuff and thought every time, "well its got to be broke now" and it just keeps on going. Had it for over 2 years now and the owner has made significant improvements and upgrades since I bought this model so its definitely a better product today than when I bought mine.

I remember the original “one acre nightmare” job, so it’s great to see it again, somewhat tamed & looking so much better. I was thinking it could be “The Taming Of The One Acre Nightmare” 😱😂 Your comments on the grass area near the end of the video was exactly what I was thinking, really thick but fine as well. Seemed easier to do the weeds area. Hope the hawk got a tasty snack 🦅 he let you get quite close. Take care & cheers from 🐨🦘🥰

If you are going to lift the blade when you back up, why not go down a uncut portion backwards? Seems like it would save gas.

I am convinced that tractor rotary cutters/bush hogs don't hold a candle to your machine! You do good work for your clients. Best wishes.
@idigit4967
@idigit4967 3 года назад
The tractor cutter/mowers don't until you get into the 100+ hp machines, but those are typically too big for the mowing I do in these small lots. And you can't really lift them up unless you have a side cutter on a boom mount.

Another excellent and relaxing video. You’re the video equivalent of easy listening music. And I see the armchair landscapers are out. You need the Super Mulcher. You need the Super Duper Mulcher. You need the Super Duper Atomic Mulcher. You need the Super Duper Atomic Apocalyptic Mulcher. You’d really have to be out of your skull to take these suggestions seriously. My answer would be “if you want me to use the Triple XXX Mulcher, why don’t you but it and a skid steer to mount it on for me? Then I’ll be glad to give it a try.” I have faith in you. You’ll know if you’re ready to upgrade equipment. Until then, keep up the good work. I’ve seen all your videos and am impressed with the progress, not only of the business, but of the videos themselves. Your camerawork has steadily improved over the years. All you need do now is add a running commentary as you work. Believe me, it adds to the viewer’s appreciation and, as your videos are infomercials for your business, potential customers will also be drawn in.

If you upgrade cutters, I’d like to see you get something like a Diamond Rotary disc instead of a drum, John @ USBC has the drum video market cornered. I also think the rotary has got to have a much higher productivity rate. Maybe not quite as fine of mulch. Have you thought about using “Low County Brush Control” as a handle?
@idigit4967
@idigit4967 3 года назад
Not sure what direction I want to go in with a mulcher, as for the new name I don't wanna be walking on "John from Upstate Brush Control"s toes LOL 😂🤣

I'm curious. What approximately is the initial investment for a venture like this (machinery, permits or DOT registration)? Also approximately what are the running costs (parts, fuel, labor for repairs)? I live in Southeast Minnesota, and am seriously thinking about doing brush clearing of lots spring through fall, and snow removal in the winter. Any sort of ballpark figures would be greatly appreciated and helpful.

Oddly enough, I find your videos very relaxing to watch. It gets me excited to hop on my Kubota SVL75-2 and start mowing my 30 acres. Question for you. Have you ever used a brush cutter with the large roller attachment? If so, did you like it or dislike it? I'd love your opinion. Thanks in advance.

Do the people who own this want it cut because of ordinances or because they want to sell the land for Commercial growth? I always wonder why something so overgrown needs to be mowed. I would understand if it is for our enjoyment that you do this field, cuz oddly we love watching this.
