I always wondered why these things weren't just merchant quests in the first place. They are literal merchant goods that you can, for the most part, get anywhere and take anywhere else. I mean it's like if they had hidden commodities behind having your ledger maxed out for the month before you could even pick them up.
Came across your channel today and I'm really enjoying it! Your videos stand out in a *ahem* sea of SOT content with the effort, analysis, and originality you put into them. 🏴☠️
Thank you so very much. This is incredibly useful. I had a feeling that it had something to do with mysterious journals. I guess I have something to do over the next few weeks (months💀).
I had always put off the explosive keg quests because my friends I played with were born without spines, but now I regret it entirely. It's now season 13, and I have yet to see a single black powder contract. Hostility to Rare increases daily, since Merchants is the one grind I actually enjoy, and now I have a commendation that's been rendered effectively impossible to complete.
I know I'm late but If I remember correctly in the early days you could sometimes get a keg included in an animal contract but that was back when that was the only quest for them
Yeah I think I remember that too. I'm pretty sure you used to be able to do a voyage for all types of supply items. I really wish they'd bring those back.
I have over 300 hours right now. Started when ps5 version launched. I have 0 gunbarrel, 1 fruit and wood and 3 cannonball steps done. So its gonna take like 30000 hours at this pace I have done now. FML
Nooooo. We've been grabbing every bottle we see and we usually get at least 1 cargo run per session. It's just a lot of jumping off the ship during travel. 😆 Don't give up!
Agreed. Wasn't there an old voyage we could buy from the merchant with supply and keg deliveries? ...Or, have I just convinced myself that the current voyage picture is residual from the old voyage (before captaincy)?
@@l8dyhysteria its really funny cause I love your kinda wholesome SoT content eventhough usually I only watch the hardcore sweats on youtube. Keep up the great work love the commedation hunting!
