I remember, me and my friends were doing this tall tale and we thought that, yeah this is cool not the best, not the worst. We were joking around the entire time, and once, this... we all went silent. We knew the lore pretty well, we knew what we, had done
The irony. Pendragon said whoever the final skull belonged to, the skeletons didn’t want him found. Before knowing who it was, you figured they were just being dicks and wanting another pirate to fade away After we know, you realize they were trying to *protect* the Sea of Thieves...
@@captainwolf348 Yes, like Flameheart said himself, the Ashen Dragon was not his prison, but his Funeral Pyre, crewed by Ashen Lords loyal to his cause.
@@franknergard9856 regular skeletons doesn't serve him only ashen skeletons like in devils roar, ashen guards, ashen key masters and ashen lords serve him regular skeletons fears and hates him because previous time when flame heart was alive he took skeletons into slavery and forced them to work on their ships and now regular skeletons fears him and hates him that why they summoned ghost of graymarrow during fate of the damned update they wanted to graymarrow do something with flame heart because they doesn't want to be slaved again
whoopsies Unleashed set free the most worse skeleton lord and a pirate captain flameheart a pure evil a cold-blooded ruthless pirate in the sea of Thieves.
Dr. Bolt no pal, not this one, he isn’t even a skelly lord, his character is more important and relevant to the lore of SoT and his actual form won’t be the final, we’ll just have to wait and prepare
A simple skeleton lord? Can a skeleton lord tear down the barriers between the Sea of Thieves and the Sea of the Damned? Can a skeleton lord resurrect long dead ashen lords who could destroy any skeleton lord? Were the forts built for random skeleton lords? He isn’t just a skeleton lord. He’s the Skeleton Overlord, back from the dead to consume the Sea of Thieves in his fiery vengeance
I remember, when I was doing this tale, I just want Pendragons sword. When I was doing "Hauntig of island" - Flameheart a I was.. heyy "little vessel" and "ANNIHILATION" haha funny. Then he appears. And I ... look, it's Flameheart. Yeah, it sounded cheerful, but then he started talking ... And when it ended, I no longer cared about the sword, but about how good this game has a story. This is the only game ... I don't mind in English. (English is not my native language and I hate games that are not in my language) But this game? One of the few games where I'm glad I invested so much money .
right after he introduced himself as captain flameheart, the subtitle changed from mysterious voice, to flameheart and that was a nice little detail they added
interesting that the tune that plays as he starts to free the soul from the skull is "we shall not be returning" and the lyrics is "hold fast tides are turning" specifically. The tides are turning, Flameheart is back.
Still love this scene, the music, the dialogue, the annoying skeletons. Perfectly shows off that what we just did was something big. We didnt just free some evil skeleton, we freed THE one, the most ruthless and evil skeleton to ever sail the sea of thieves. One so powerful that even tiny flicks of his soul can be used to taint and transform items to make them much more powerful, like we saw with the transformed sword of souls.
Free! At! LAST! All those long years spent trapped inside my own remains, betrayed by my own kind, dreaming of the day I would be at liberty to once again burn my name across the waves. CAPTAIN! FLAMEHEART! I see you little pirates... The ones to whom I owe my gratitude. Thanks to your pathetic act of mercy, your sword has set me free! The ashen dragon was never my prison. It was my funeral pyre, crewed by those who were loyal to my cause, ashen lords who still long for the thrill of battle, and shall soon be reawakened. This world had gotten so much weaker... Festivals! Alliances! Squabbling over trinkets! I judge it unworthy! But know this, pirates. Know this, merfolk. Know this, Sea of Thieves... I have returned, and the fires of my vengeance shall consume you all!
