I know summit isn't technically a partner anymore, but he did this with Pace too (who still is a partner). I'm not saying what either of them did is wrong, I just think it's funny how I get banned for the same thing. It's even funnier how RobRaven can camp a kid on stream and not even get a tempban from the game while others get permanent bans for a lot less. They just pick and choose who they want to ban and don't actually care what anyone did.

I stopped watching RobRaven after he got sunk once, then told his viewers to mass-report the player that did it. Last I checked, he's not banned.

This is just a perfect example of Rare's double standards. They market SOT as a PVP-PVE game, yet when you pvp and happen to be unlucky enough to sunk one of these types of streamers, they will simply abuse their influence and the shitty report system. Same goes for the alliance servers, please RARE ENLIGHTEN me how the fuck is it not a double standard that these players can get people banned for PVP'ng them? In your PVP game?

Summit is the one who got me hooked on SOT. Wanted to be just like him, sneaking on ships, tucking, stealing loot. Never got that good, still need some work on PVP and Naval. But I do agree, unfortunately it's "rules for thee and not for me" and we see it a lot in other games as well.

I’d honestly love for a partner to find this. There are a few that I feel would agree with this bullshit. As in agreeing with your side of it, not the side of anyone who isn’t a partner gets banned. Some partners understand how unfair the ban system is.

I don't get how people need to take it so far when someone steals their shit. Get mad, punch a wall doesn't matter but imagine going out of your way to get the player banned. The game is called Sea of THIEVES, not Sea of Friends

What I love is when I was playing with my buddy, we came across a reaper galleon stacking the new fortresses and we sank them, then I got kicked off the server 3 times when my connection was perfect which I'm not sure if it was them or not, after they start messaging me with all these insults which I laughed at, and I said nothing in return except "don't raise reaper if you aren't ready to fight", they all reported me and then said they got friends to report me and 2 weeks later I see that good ol "you are temporarily banned from the sea of thieves"

SOT veterans have mostly left the game. We work countless hours grinding and fighting to get the endgame rewards. But these kids devalue the achievements of legitimate players. ARENA had these servers as well and it was inexcusable.

Rares management of this game and it's playerbase is piss poor. Worst part is that the mods on the official forums and on reddit gatekeep discussions, so there's no real way to call them out in front of the community about all this bs.
