My 10yr old son did a full week and nearly 70 miles of trail riding in Moab with me earlier this month on the Polygon D24x. For all the rocks, airtime, and pounding that my son sought out it performed flawlessly. It's not some ridiculously heavy leftover adult parts thrown onto a equally heavy kid-sized frame either. Parts spec was really well thought out IMO. For the price, it's tough to beat.
Especially when they go on sale! I got my son the polygon premier xc 20’ on sale. I should’ve went ahead and snagged the d24 or d24x and put it away for a few yrs til he needs it lol
I got my kid the SDG pack, that comes in several colours, last year. All good quality components. I've also looking been looking at the 2023 Marin Rift Zone Jnr. I reckon for the price and components, it can't be beaten! Especially here in Australia.
Thanks for this video. My son has a polygon premier xc 20’. He only 6 so he has a ways til he needs a 24’ but great to see the variety of 24/26 inch bikes for the youth!
I lucked out and got a 2021 ransom 400 for 1,699 before they raised prices. Bike is heavy for a kid but it shreds. He’s small and light under 60lbs and 52” Great for bike parks. Stock kenda tires are paper thin though.
