Way down in the far southeast corner of Texas there lies a remote and unique coastal park that few folks know about. From coastal fishing, to crabbing, to kayaking the marshland, Sea Rim State Park has something for everyone. Or so they say.
If you like mosquitoes then Sea Rim State Park is perfect for you. If you like to drive on the beach then Sea Rim State Park is for you. If you are afraid of Alligators then Sea Rim State Park is not for you, If you are not a fan of sand then Sea Rim State Park is not of you.
Ovisit was originally scheduled for two night, but due to bad weather moving in and the huge swarms of mosquitos we decided that one night was just over to much for us! So I guess Sea Rim State Park is not for us!

That sucks that your levelers quit working. If you are getting an error on your leveler, Donovan may be able to help (slim chance). That happened on our levelers and we had the guy show us how to reset them. I'd be afraid to ride little red on the boardwalk where there are no handrails. I like the music you used. Sorry, all of the skeeters got into your RV. The water looks beautiful. Stay safe and warm! Donovan and Jodi

Our leveling system was having an off day. After a few hours I went through the whole process again and vola! the system came back on line and we were go to go! thanks for watching!

You just cannot get away from people. You can be the only camper in a huge campground, and sure enough, someone will arrive and take the site right next to you!

hello from the snowy frosty vibrant ozarks dude rv! appears to be a quiet place to visit during winter. never fails when fishing a quiet cove on the lake, someone stops and fish beside you. can never figure that out! enjoyed my 2 cups of fresh roasted hot columbian while watching another informative and entertaining video! tight lines and cheers and happy valentines day!!

Quiet except for the wind and the skeeters! It is funny how people say they want to be alone but then set up shop right next to you in a remote place. Hope you are staying warm! thanks for watching!

You beach scootin baby, I hate that the boardwalk was damaged, you would have liked that, it looks pretty rough compared to when I was there 😢. Talking about those people, me and my wife always find it amusing, we'll go into an empty restaurant with about 40 tables, sit over in the corner to ourselves, and the very next customer will come in and sit beside us lol.

Is that all Texas State Park since you don’t need a license and are you by Beaumont Texas close up the road from there as high island good to see your videos

Walter Umphries has so far been the only Texas State Park that I have been to where you needed to have your license to fish all of the other Texas State Parks, no license is required to fish, provided you stay inside of the park. ( If you launch a boat and head out onto a large lake you have left the park) High Island? now that I have Googled that I will have to head back that way someday and pay a visit. thanks for sharing and thanks a whole bunch for watching!

that is correct! only cold water showers to rinse off the beach!

back in the 1980s sea rim had facilities showers and a fantastic museum, all free. after years of heavy hitting hurricanes, well i guess the cost of rebuilding and maintaining was too great.
