Also should I even be using it? I have dark, thick hair that's currently overgrown to about halfway down my head. I like a 'rough' look but my hair often starts to curl round on itself when I've put some products in, particularly around the fringe. Sometimes I'll tease it straight with a straightener just in the front, but maybe I shouldn't be doing that?
Hey Andy, thanks for your question, there isn't really a right or wrong when it comes to making your own, it's very much to your own taste. Some people prefer that gritty texture than others, and so would add more sea salt. By the sounds of your hair I wouldn't add more sea salt as it sounds like you have a nice thick texture to your hair anyway.
In response to straightening, yeah definitely if that works for you, it's great to get some separation through the hair. You can definitely mix the two together, If you find using sea salt spray alone gives you too much of a curl
I washed my hair and then I went to the beach for the day. I showered at the beach shower without any shampoo or body gel, just did it to get rid off of some of the salt and sand. Btw I have to mention that started growing my hair out. I was expecting that when I get home my hair would be a complete mess... But I was in for a surprise, it was just as good as when I showered in the morning, even better, it was actually silky and in place, when my hair gets dirty it curls... But there was none found. Best thing I discovered in a while.
Hey, yeah that would work, you would just have to make sure you evenly distributed the coconut oil throughout the hair or it might go frizzy in patches. You also won't feel as strong as an effect but it'll look like a nice soft wave. Start off with a little and add more if needed
LEGENDARY!!! SEA SALT SPRAY IS LEGENDARY!!! IT MADE MY HAIR MY DREAM HAIR SO BEAUTIFUL AND LEGENDARY AND WAVY!!! LOVE!!! THANK YOU GOD AND THANK YOU UNIVERSE!!!
My hair is straight and thick but not curly and doesn’t have much texture so if I use sea salt spray will it develop more texture and will it become more wavy ( or do I need to mechanically wave my hair myself) ?
I have the same hair texture, except that I do have very SLIGHT waves. When it air dries however, it’s almost totally straight. Salt spray and scrunching really helps to give my hair some wave and body without having to use heat or heavy products. My hair also doesn’t hold curls with heat so salt spray is my go-to.
@@charleswsalisbury88 I mean, just having it a bit of an S shape would be great for me. Not going for curly hair. More like going for 2a hair.... So, I can use sea salt spray and scrunch my hair to achieve this look? Thank you for everything👏
@@evanskaci5736 yes you can. When you hop out of the shower spray the sea salt spray into your hair and begin scrunching till you get the wavy effect, then let it dry.
I use a mixture. Everything I review I use on myself and clients for a while to see if it is actually any good... Or anything like the Marketing says. ha ha
Good guy with good information and a great head of hair. Seems to have adapted the constant overuse of his hands when speaking though which has now become common place on many RU-vid videos. It's natural to use our hands when speaking, but not to this level. Like somebody in a rap video. Looks daft.
