I was expecting space pirates and laser cannons for this song, but this is still ultra incredible!!!

This has without a doubt been the most fun project I've worked on! Thank you, Jonathan, for having me onboard, and I hope you all enjoyed it!

When the glasses get blown off and you just replace them with another set just cracks me up every time. This song and video is sick, I cant wait to hear the rest of the album

I've listened to Starship Velociraptor a great number of times. This is an absolute bombshell video. Captured the energy perfectly.

I was ready for metal sea shanty. I was NOT ready for the manliest musical experience of kickin animations and the catchiest beat on the seven seas. Incredibly well done Jon and all those involved in this, this was an experience.

I love the fact that the internet has made sea shanty metal its own niche genre

Treasure hunters search for a centuries old pirate treasure, battling all kinds of enemies, and have a darn fun time rocking out in the process.

This album is so perfectly absurd that it has inspired no less than three different tabletop campaigns in as many systems that I want to run. Congratulations, you've given some adventurers a lot of work to do.

not only is the song amazing but those animations...god those animations are soooo good

Darn it, this NEEDS to be a movie, preferably a dieselpunk/alternate history one where not only do pirates still roam some parts of the ocean in this alternate version of 1903-1936, but the electric guitar was invented and metal music was conceived decades early, thus allowing the main characters to actually SING this song.

So much charm in the animation! Had to laugh when he lost his glasses at 2:35 or so and immediately put on another pair - music is great as well, as always! Keep up the good work!

Dude Starship Velociraptor has been the single best album I've heard in years. This is one of my favorite tracks and I'm so happy to see it get it's own special treatment, Hugo did such an outstanding job on this. I know you're probably very popular for your cover art but goddamn I look forward to each day you post original content cause it fucking slaps

Absolutely love some the details in the video! the ship having speakers, lights, and a disco ball for weaponry, Jon's glasses being blown off and having a pair on standby, his badass gauntlet sword thing! Starship Velociraptor was one of the best things that happened in 2021 for me, and I hope that, with the pace we have right now, the entire album gets sweet music videos! _so glad i got a signed copy as well_

Just discovered this through Ragnarock VR; love playing to this and I loooove this music video too! Amazing quality animation. Really puts you in the mood for adventure, and I love that squad there - the dragon'ish drummer one and the SNAZZY CAPTAIN captured my attention completely!

I am usually working wheb i listen but just caught the video and it is lit. I love how he completes his mission to get the spotlight on the ball even while falling to his presumed death. He accepts that he did his absolute best and is fine with this being how he goes, he is a hero accepting death. And then he gets saved and is just like "oh goodness, you chaps aaved me?" And gets back up to keep shredding the keyboard.

man I can't tell you how happy this makes me. Starship Velociraptor was a gem and seeing this animated is brilliant.

The moment where the heavy metal 'cannons' blasted back the barrage was one of the most epic things I've ever seen animated. Absolutely killer!

I love how the band is back in this, drummer is a fucking alien, our guitarist a machine! Loved the animation of the tentacle bits forming monsters and just overall really creative take on a pirate ship that fights with music.

I don't know how exactly, but over the last few days the Album became my music to get work done. It just pushes you further, gets you to get up and do something and finish your Uni Thesis. Had to pull an all-nighter but i don't think i could have done it without those fantastic beats keeping me motivated. Thx for releasing such an amazing album. And thx for covering Valhalla calling, as i might not have found you otherwise. As strange as this sounds, looking back now, listening to your songs for half a year.

Out of all the songs I've seen from you John, I have to be honest, this animation and song will always be my absolute favorite. You are an absolute legend and a God of your own.

One detail that I absolutely LOVE is that, after the lead singer/keyboardist loses his hand, he is being assisted by the drummer when he plays the last keyboard part.

This song really makes me want to play in a DnD game as space pirates searching for the motherlode. I do goddamn love this song, this one and storm the castle really get me in a DnD mood.
