Cool idea but I would still have a back up like a rope for example just in case.A few weeks ago a bike came of a car near me and went through the windscreen of the car behind doing 70 mph just missing the driver
Was wondering when people would use glass suction cups for different uses. Seen vacuum suctions used for different things. And for $69 isn't too bad. Love the led idea, much better than the magnetic type.
I did buy three separate pieces and they have d-rings attached and i use them as an anchor point to hang my 6x8 tarp of my truck as a shade. They work great, worth the money.
I like them and will probably buy some in the future. Only con I see is that your stuff can be easily stolen. Seeing how it's best use is for temporarily mounting things. I think it's a con worth living with
Thanks for share and video! Sounds like a great product line, and for us that don't have roof rails or racks:) May have to try out, and see :) All the BEST to you ! Yep there is a mis-spelling in website ling... Cheers ! :)
Intriguing, it'd take awhile to get past the worry and onto trust. Dirt, water, temperature, atmospheric pressure changes with elevation, humidity.. seems all those environmental factors would test the integrity of a suction cup, albeit a heavy duty suction cup.
I'd have to see more tests for me to trust a $1000 bike on the back of my suv. I live in Reno where it rains and freezes and snows so I'd like to see how it works at 6000 ft elevation.
As for carrying a RTT, it is going to depend on the weight carrying capacity of the vehicle's roof. Four points of weight distribution might dent some vehicles. You may need quite a few more.
Thanks for sharing.... I would really like to get a SeaSucker for my GoPro. I would want to mount it to my sunroof but, I'm afraid that it would crack the glass due to how well it works. I'm sure the sunroof is safety glass but, it's not thick like the windshield and windows. What's your thoughts? I would sincerely appreciate an answer due to heading out west going into several national parks next month. Thanks. Ray
