SEA WORLD OF FLORIDA BELIEVE POWWOW SHOW 2006 

This brings tears to my eyes. I can remember watching this video when I was a kid and the music moved me. The whole show was beautiful, the set was awesome and the killer whales were amazing! I am crying still to this day! 😂

And I am just gonna say this coz I am sure people are gonna talk about it.....the whale doing waterworks is not Tilikum! That is Taku, he looks very much like Tilikum but he passed away in 2007. That is why this footage is so special.

I still get chills every time I watch this. Even though I have seen it hundreds of times it sill touches my heart

there was a time when seaworld use to rival Disney theatrics, the music the choreography , everything. I miss the good old days

Orcas in Seaworld can be trained. I believe God gave Orcas the resiliency to adapt to live in the wild, swimming pools or in any weather. God showed in "Believe" show that God gave Orcas to humankind and allowed them to discover they have more talents and can follow instructions, and this talent can collaborate with music to entertain us. Orca's trainers are heroes; they overcome death to interact with whales to provide us with a decent show for all our families and could heal many mental or psychological ailments just by watching the show. About Dawn, she is flawless! Accidents could happen to any profession. Dawn loves the whales just as we do. Prayers and thanks to you!

Thank you so much for posting this. This is believe at its best. It's the believe I saw many years ago. Wish I had a DVD of this.

You may enjoy the show, or protest against it... But one thing you must agree with me: The trainers have accomplished what all of us mortals had thought to be impossible... They've believed... and they've done it. So, please, let no protest bury their work, may their efforts be remembered. The greater message of this show is not entertainment, but rather a lesson we heard long ago, and still hear till this very day, with little understanding about it: "Everything is possible for one who believes." I am not saying they should help the creation of other parks throught out the world, but rather care for the whales they already got in their parks in U.S., which certainly cost fortunes while some people believe the solution for the dilemma should be a full boycott to the show. Let's find a common understanding cause this attitude just had the company to spread out overseas, by the creation of new parks, in order to keep its financial responsabilities to the whales and the financers of this whole enterprise. Let's find a common understanding, and more than that, may videos like this one continue to touch our hearts and minds with the assurance that the work of the trainers will never be forgotten. I just want to thank you for putting this on RU-vid. It brought tears to my eyes seeing and hearing Laura speak. Obviously, the quality could have been slightly better, but heck-- the footage is fantastic.

I bet you had a blast doing the best effects ever combine that with traniers skills plus amazing animals you got the greatest show ever.

Thanks for uploading a good recording of the show, and at night as well! Nicely done, Chris. Those years working at SeaWorld must have been worth it. I can respect the fact that the folks at SeaWorld try their best at keeping the animals alive and in well being after all as well as the amount of love the trainers put into the animals in the parks. Sure we lost a few trainers during the process, but just reminding everyone that life at any given moment can be a big risk mostly due to our limitations. Everyone has to start and end at some point, so while it can be saddening to the families and coworkers of the trainers lost at I think 3 of the shows at least we know they tried the best they can. Thanks again for the video. Also, I had to edit this comment a few times since I'm trying my best not to tick off anyone.

Who is the male trainer in this show? (It's not John Hargrove or Jeff Ventrey). I've seen him before. I think he's worked for SeaWorld for a number of years. He is really good with the whales. He did a good job in this show. Can somebody please tell me his name?

When SeaWorld was a place full of magic and truly adored their orcas by really showing them to the public. This is when SeaWorld really believed and had a heart full of passion. The activists and the people who do not educate themselves with the truth stripped that away from SeaWorld. I wish these days could come back. The orcas loved the waterworks, the socialisation and interaction. Such great times!

OK now that we have the video of the show, you can let them free, please!

I have been watching alot of videos. I have never been to sêaworld im 48. I love all animals, nót humans so much. I have left alot of hate comments. These orcas are so beautiful, i dont think its right to use them to make money. These trainers i believe do love them. My only issues are #1 they are to big in small tanks, #2 in the case like tilikum and dawn something in my gút tells me he was treated bad after that. It isnt his fault nor was it hers bút he led a shit life after thât. Im nót sure how to feel. Like i said i LOVE all animals. Humans i tend to stay away from. Maybe someone from seaworld can give me info.

Ironic them showing whales in the sea. At the start of the 'performance ' What load of bullshit.

Hate the way they keep captive orca that should be in wild and is a crock of shit their so smart they could let every on go and they will learn to hunt will not starve. But man it is amazing show they put one amazing show on Broadway cant perform as well as some orcas . how Smart they are wish the had a massive pipe from the pool to a lagoon so they can go home at the end of the day the do like people enough where they would probly go and return like cows dogs or other domestic animals. Nope the get life in prison
