I have one of these, they’re great, wish I played it more

Strung with steel, I used to own one. It’s a bit awkward to get much out in thus playing position so I stuck with the traditional dulcimer lying flat in my lap and get much better results.

I too had one many years ago, they were called the Seagull Merlin back then.

"Seagull M4" sounds like an outboard motor!

Hi Matt, are they strung with steel strings or can you use nylon or carbon?

Hi Matt, how hard is it to get to grips with? Are they easier to learn than Ukes? Fewer frets and being diatonic????
