I think with what seems to be a focus on stronger physical defense (and all around play in general) under coach Mac, or at least we're assuming as much anyway, I can't see why Seattle would *cut* a dude like Bryant. I think he makes the team for sure. But, as you said - "rich people problems". A problem I'm sure a lot of other teams in the NFL wish they had. Can't wait to see how it all shakes out! I like this look at the secondary. Coby Bryant has been one of my faves since Seattle drafted him out of UC. I really hope they keep him. I'd like to see him as a first team starter.

He deserves starter time but his value as a back up in case of injury and fill in to give ppl rest every now and then makes him invaluable to the roster. Coach Mac also likes rotations right? By cycling ppl in it not only keeps players fresh but also makes the offense consider personnel changes. Being able to swap in a secondary piece anywhere without a drop in skill is a crazy advantage. Especially for 1 roster spot. Keep dudes fresh and the offense guessing. So excited to see a new defense! Thanks for the elite coverage as always

Oh yeah I think he makes the team. he was always a physical player who made solid contact consistently. something the org needs to fix is tackling. that steelers game was rough. riq woolen who had a tackling issue last season is a big reason I can see the org keeping people like the king of pop as well as the cobe on the roster. I honestly dont know who they will go with because I like the whole db room, especially tre brown. he stepped up even after his injury. for sure rich probs at db

I'm so glad you spot lighted Coby Bryant. He hits hard and was great at knocking the ball out. I don't understand why he wasn't used more. There was no need to bring in another safety especially when he is still a young player and has a high ceiling. They should have used the money for a LB. I guess some people just have favorite players. Coby is one of those players that will be released and become a star for another team.

Cobe has a knack for dislodging the ball. He led the team his rookie year in that stat. I hope he gets some shine this year.
