I was a little uneasy after they passed on Jalen Carter, but now looking at the day 1 and day 2 picks, this may be Pete Carrolls greatest draft since 2012. Got the top two players at WR and CB in the draft, sharpening already good units there. And now in the later rounds getting the needs, interior OL, run stopper DL. Adding another pass rusher, you can never have too many. The RB Charbonet being another nod to power run football and giving Geno support. Very excited for the Seahawks this year!

i also questioned the witherspoon pick but it does seem fine now. The charbonet pick is not bad but we do have kenneth walker, travis homer and dejay dallas so i thought we could have drafted a rb later and addressed ol or dl but its not a terrible pick

Seahawks need to look at hometown Husky Jaxson Kirkland could be a steal in round 7 if he can stay healthy. Not one single player from the 8th ranked 11-2 University of Washington Huskies taken in draft through 234 picks. Think they might be stacked coming into next year? You can thank the Jimmy Lake regime for this debacle & Jaxson's untimely ankle injury, for something like this to happen....Jaxson was picked up by the Bengals as an UDFA....Next year, there will be a slew of Huskies taken in the draft....Michael Penix Jr.....Rome Udunze, Jalen McMillan, ZTF, Bralen Trice, Eddie Ulofoshio....The list goes on & on.....The 2023 version of the Washington Huskies is going to be as good, if not, better than the 2016 version that lost to Bama..... The Seahawks will be able to D up with the Niners, (who have a horrible record against us all-time) even with their 3 wins last year....It's like 32-17 or something ridiculous like that.....Shut down their running game & they become one-dimensional....
