Jerrell has an opportunity and it's a great opportunity for a late round draft pick. He works well over there with the two young guards, I'm impressed. I think it's great competition for all three, competition helps everyone become accountable.
SEATTLE. 34. . Atlanta. 14. . Victory Monday. The better team won. Victory was ours. GO HAWKS. SEATTLE NATION BABY. . SEATTLE ALL THE WAY. SEAHAWKS 4 LIFE. 💚💚💚💙💙💙💚💚💚💙💙💙💚💚💚💙💙💙💚💚💚💙💙💙
I think Charbonet is still learning and he's got potential, he should be given a season at least to see if he develops, let us hope D.K. is fine.I can remember a stage under Holmgren that we was virtually unbeatable at home but couldn't get a road win for love or money apart from against our division rivals.💙💚💙💚
Been watching the channel for a while, and it looks like you've lost a little bit of weight. Looking good man! Love the coverage you provide. Keep up the great work. Go hawks!
"DUBYA!" We needed this win. REALLY Pulling for Mike Jerrell, there is ABSOLUTELY going to be growing pains, he's a tackle and doesn't get the protection that a rookie guard can. Lucas is young and has the rest of his life to live and he may need to do what is best for his health. That said, I am currently a believer in Mike Jerrell, he's not going to get eased in the way Hayes is but so far I like what I see. I'd say it's his spot until he proves he can't handle it.
B 8 The Hawks had lost so many needed players during that 3 game slide. 2 games were directly DK's fault. Yet they really hung in before losing. Charbonet ran almost exclusively left side. K9 went right behind Jarrell for what k9 earned. 91 was also kicking butt, was nice to see him in the game. bryant is better, period. doesnt need to cheat, so less penalties. he and Love were dominating the secondary. What has been missing for sure. I think they have a chance to get to playoffs, just give Geno time. i am excited to see how it goes now.
I personally think this team should run more dual splitback options with both rbs on the field at the same time with random mixes of playaction and runs to help with pass protection and even use them with some RPO screens to create more balance as well as have them both get more touches with maximizing their versatility
Seahawks have a very tough 3 game stretch coming up against the Bills, Rams, and 49ers. If they can take 1 or two out of those three, they will have done good. The Rams game is a must win because Seattle needs conference wins since the 3 straight losses to division and conference opponents. They did get one from the Falcons. If they could win the Rams and 49ers game for their next two wins, that would be the key to winning the division and getting a homefield playoff game. That's hoping for a lot, but it is virtually a necessity.
Not trying to dismiss Mike Jerrell's performance yesterday but isn't the ATL d-line not known for their dominance or pressures? Could that have factored into how well he played?
I dunno...Jerrell played well...frankly, the entire line played well. Geno got sacked once. That's pretty much lights out for the Seattle O-Line. Let's keep that up for the rest of the season and then we'll know if Jerrell is for real, or if he was an injection of adrenaline for the entire line.
He did an admirable job at right tackle, but one game is not a season. Hoping Fant heals up soon, because I do NOT believe Lucas will EVER be a full time starter. He is just too injured to hold up.
Metcalf has amassed the second-most amount of receiving yards in the NFL this season, with 568 he's on the verge still of being among randy moss Jerry Rice for most yards in 11 seasons just like locket next year is his 11th 1000 yards just like Tampa Mike Evans recently
I think Jerrell held his own but you also neglected to mention the fact Atlanta is one of the worst pass rushing teams in the league. Let’s see how he does against buffalo next week
Charbenet is as good a running back as Zeke. You give him a good offensive line and he’s a good running back, you give him the worst offensive line and he’s slightly below average
I'm not even kidding when I say Forsythe might be the worst tackle I've ever seen in my life. He doesn't even look good while being bad, he looks stiff and awkward.
Jarrell had a decent start. he certainly did not embaress himslf. Way to early to tell and I do not know his level of competition . Coby was very good. I am sock of the stupidoty of trading DK. I do not to hear or listen to this shit anymore. I want a 255 pound bowling ball as a 2nd rinning back that gets me 3 yards on 3rd or even 4th down when needed and who is the go to guy in the red zone.
