Does it store photos in the same place as the camera app for the phone, or automatically to the internal phone storage? I would like to have the photos and videos stored to the SD card in the phone for safety in case of a leak. Last year I accidentally took my phone scuba diving with me in Belize. Just forgot to take it out of my pocket first. I only lost the phone to the salt water. The SD card was fine, and all the photos I had taken were still there.

The Sportdiver app stores the images and videos to the phone’s camera roll as well as the Sportdiver app.

Hello, I am about to buy a second sport diver, but I want to know if there was a improvement on how to shoot off the alarm? as that was my only problem, keep beeping all the time just by the moist of closing the housing before diving. It should beep 10 seconds shoot and off at most and be less loud. Thank You

You can disable the pressure sensor leak detector, but not the moisture sensor. We’ve redesigned the moisture detector to be less sensitive however you still have to be careful not to get moisture into the housing.

@@sealifecameras The pressure sensor is a big upgrade, after few dives i better stop using the pump as it keep beeping and disabling the camera. How can i know i will get the new version of the housing as they may send me a older version. from a store.

@@VivaElMole the disable feature is in the app, the other changes we made already in early 2021

Can I have an Java API so I can develop my own Android App and make a 4k 60fps movie? (I bought it today and it is only 30 fps for 4k even if my Huawei 40pro is doing 60 fps on his own)
@sealifecameras

We have 60fps coming soon!

@@sealifecameras Any news for 60 fps on Android (or EMUI 12 as Huawei is not allowed with Android)? I did my scuba movies on 30 fps in Buzios, Brazil Super device - Maybe I should keep the yellow filter under the water - I had only a few hours to test

So among the SportDiver, Micro and ReefMaster: obviously they all have different pros and cons, but what's your top pick?
@sealifecameras
@sealifecameras 2 года назад
That’s a tough choice but have to say that diving a camera without the need for a housing is great, and so easy. So the Micro 3.0 is a solid pick for the top spot. It takes great photos and videos too.

@@sealifecameras awesome, it does seem like the permanent seal is super helpful and low maintenance. Our shop is proud to carry all three! Thank you!

question, how does the light work? do i turn it on & leave it on while i dive or does the app know to tell the light to flash? referring to the tray & light shown in this video
@sealifecameras
@sealifecameras 3 года назад
It’s a continuous light, not a flash; you’d turn it on and off, or adjust intensity.

thank you for replying. Do you have any information on a clip on macro (magnifying) lens for this housing? I'm still using my housing and really enjoy it@@sealifecameras

There is one more flaw in the software. It shoots videos at 30 fps. Although the phone has 60 fsb feature, you cannot change it.
