I taught myself how to seal plastic bags for craft supplies that needed a closed bag. Here is a quick tutorial on the method I found worked best. Blog - www.handmadebykristen.blogspot.com Twitter- HandMadeByKris
I was about to purchase an Impulse sealing machine online to seal small items when I decided to open another browser and search on youtube for a DIY sealing bags. I watched your video and immediately decided to do it your DIY way and it saved me money too. I encourage you to do more videos that has an impact on commerce such as this; shipping or packing ways as an alternative for those looking for alternatives.
This worked amazingly well! I am surprising a friend with a care package. In it, I put Party Mix, but I wanted to take out the chips he doesn't like and fill it with all the chips he does like. It resealed the chip bag surprisingly well. Thank you! I think he's going to love his surprise!
This was so helpful! I ordered some cellophane bags for my business, but they were much bigger than I thought. I will definitely try out this method. Thank you so much! It was really helpful! ❤
Whoever thumbed down this is wack! Lol I’ve been trying to find out how I could seal my shrink wrap without buying one of those irons before shrinking it but I think this will work perfect!
This is an amzing idea! I'm traveling next month and I need to pack Gluten free bread because I know I won't be able to find it easily where I'm travelling to. Thank you so much!!!
Neat idea. If I were to do this lots, I would spend the $20 for a plastic bag sealer, like iTouchless BR001U Bag sealer. Just glue a magnet on the back and hang it on the fridge. It also works for chip bags.
Hah ha! It works. Thank you so much for this video. BTW, i'm doing this to make smaller bags for my crafts from larger baggies. For those wondering who's doing this to bag the weed. Lol.
Thanks so much I am trying to make an ice bag specifically for my laptop so that it doesn't overheat of course, gonna be using a towel around the keyboard so that the *condensed water* doesn't leak into the keyboard and do water damage
Learned what I needed to in less than 2 seconds, thanks! Took longer to write this comment thanking you Far too long Procrastination is a terrible thing Could be the weed
Hello, please I need your help I tried this but the plastic wasn't sealing, it wasn't even melting, and when I burned it, it burned like paper. I think I got the wrong film material. Please what is the name of this plastic material? Please reply
SoJayTay man when i was pushing nd i ran outta bags id put it in grocery bags. This works i guess if your only selling gram bags and you got all day and your to lazy to run to the store nd buy 100 baggies for 2 bucks
I would be careful with cellophane because the melting point may be lower. I would turn the heat down more and practice with a peice to adjust your time.
