The old saying, 'With great power comes great responsibility' really does apply. We have all the power but seem to be neglecting most responsibilities.
Yes, that is a great approach. It is something Francois learnt over the years and actually modified the Centre so they could come and go when the Seals wanted to.
It seems like these seals desperately need help. Some humans have a genuine desire to step in and make the situation better for them so that they can survive and they can continue to survive as a species.
Seems like the critics and 'arm chair activists' are out in full force, very happy to be negative about anything anyone else is trying to do, but doing nothing themselves. I guess that is the nature of the world.
Sorry again, please talk more graspable, we have Austrian Dialects even hardly to be understood by Austrians. The world is being destroyed. Our Wienerwald ist being slaughtered. The beautiful trees put into long-distance-heating. The European Union is an ugly kommunistic nations prison. I was against it. But even if there was no more tree in the woods the people imagine trees and do not care. So far to arm chair activists. Please watch your video with foreign eyes, you would be shocked too. I do not accuse you, I just said it is sad that nothing can be done.
@@ecoeyefilms - Sorry, but I was so disappointed it hurt me what I saw, one of the very little ones still a very strong animal walked hungry around baaing for its mother. The English dialect of the guy talking I could not understand why their mothers did not come back? Certainly this is nature. If possible, they should have been saved in a baby seal station, unluckily there is none? because also very strong animals must die without their mother and food. I am in Austria, I do not know from where do you sent this film? As it goes worldwide would be nice to talk graspable. And if you put such a sad video into the worldwide net, you must be aware there could come reactions of sad disappointment. One of the guys carries such a more dead than alive seal from the shadow into the sun to the water. The animal surched the shadow to fade away, water could not help. It is a very sad video.
Thanks for your long reply, we working on a long series about what is going on. Although it starts like this there is a long story arc. We are working on number 8 in the series, I’m not sure if you have watched the others in the series?
@@ecoeyefilms- This is the first and only I saw from your series. Do you know the Namibian Seal Saver who remove the entanglements and hooks from the seals? Suddenly I was on your page. Namibia a soft with friendly surroundings. From where are your series? Perhaps Kanada?
@@platon-hgl4738 We filmed this series in South Africa and Namibia mainly. We were getting material on TV before anything was coming out of Namibia itself produced the filmmaker starting this channel. We are very glad there is now material coming directly from Namibia.
Thanks for you input and I agree 100%, they are not pets. But for someone to do anything in any particular field, especially if it is difficult, you have to have a love for what you are doing. We have gone to great lengths to explain the conflicts we know exist in dealing with wildlife. Maybe you are correct, everyone should walk away and turn a blind eye, to whatever is happening in the natural world.
