Too gorgeous for words😍. I love the use of the hat pin as a fastener - must look on eBay for vintage sewing items! Jarf from Mediaeval Mirage makes coffee-dyed papers using plastic lace which would look wonderful with all that vintage lace.

It really works well, the lace acts as a sort of stencil. You can spray the paper with diluted gold paint through the plastic lace too. 😁

The lace you are talking about with the butterflies, is not crocheted. It is bobbin lace, which is MUCH more time consuming and difficult to make. It would take a year to make that last piece if you worked on it everyday.
