@@Creepo_J Pika can't even carry you, you have to actually work to get carried. That character is hard and requires precision and timing. Without Tjolt one of key to Pika gameplan, that character would be ass.
9:58 I love going for this reverse knee shit even though it's not the same anymore (In big bodies we trust) Sean's freestyle gameplay gets me hype cause I only mash buttons and adapt along the way, you can see someone who is having fun with this game
Some feedback to the commentators, talk about what is happening in the match, it feels like you are just talking between yourselves about the match and casually have the commentators mics in front of you with comments like "who do you think is going to win", "I think Sean is the best falcon", "Sean is just destroying him!". Try to talk more about the flow of the game, the neutral, stage selection, who is in advantage and what's he doing to extend it, etc...
It’s like this. Sean is better vs some players and characters and fatality is better vs others. Sean was really good against esam pika while fatality really had to work for it. Fatality defeated many big name sephiroth players while Sean got 3-0d by big name sephs.Just different falcons with different play styles. Sean falcon better with movement and neutral with a side of recklessness while fatality is better with the basics and fundamentals of him and tends to play him safer.
We haven't really seen them in the same tournament in a long time, so it's hard to really say how they would place against each other. Even then, things like match-ups and player knowledge would also be a big determining factor.
@@A_Shut-in_NEET I would say you got most of that right. But fatality doesn't play him 'safer'. Fatality is a wild man just like Sean is. Any decent falcon HAS to be. It really is just different styles. Sean is definitely better with movement like you said, that will help him in some match ups. I would say fatality just has more overall knowledge about the game and the cast, not to mention, specific top tier players play styles. And probably has more experience in what is optimal in certain situations during high level play. Though Sean has definitely been making strides in that aspect as well. Falcon is such a freelance character that it's hard to tell what someone is doing right/wrong. It sucks that Falcon sucks.
FUN FACT: the last time Sean had played ESAM was back in Smash 4 while he still went under the alias “Cashmere” (iykyk) Cashmere upset Esam in the last Super Smash Con of smash 4’s lifespan and put Sean on the map for the first time
Esam got wrecked here. it’s satisfying seeing Sean not only win a losing match up against one of the best characters in the game but Esam was also using the box. It’s a nice reminder that match-up spreads and special controllers doesn’t matter if you’re outplaying your opponent
The way Sean moves and consistently gets things like UpSmash reads and footstools boggles my mind, he's one of the most entertaining players to watch in SSBU
why is Fatality catching so much strays for no apparent reasons? Sean is hype, heck i want him to go the distance but y'all gotta hop off his junk. Also Fatality stans gotta give it a rest on the other side. If we're talking objectively it's still Fatality who's the best falcon. Better consistency, good wins and always out places Sean at every majors they been at but on the other hand, Sean has been improving alot and is slowly closing the gap. His glaring issue is his consistency when attending majors.

Commentators were cringe, Esam is cringe, the box controller is cringe. Luckily Sean spanked Esam so hard that it was able to take my mind off the terminal cringe for a moment
I'm sorry ma'am but sean idolizes fatality and recognizes his skill as the best. look at any of they're 1v1 versus each other. So there's your opinion, but simply not a fact. Sean's still beast but for now he's only second best falcon
Esam 100% is hungry to be world #1, but got schmixed here. It happens to everyone. He's gotta get past the perspective that Pikachu is #1 and has no bad matchups tho
This set was INSANE from start to finish, but the commentary was horrible and only got worse. Half the time was spent talking about opinions on mii fighters, the Boxx, and asking "who do you think will win?" like 10 times. The commentary on the last match after the 2nd dude took over is honestly trash. TL;DR Watch this set on mute.
I've been a fan of fatality for a while. He's been my favorite player since the start, but god damn Sean came out of nowhere and just started sweeping so many top players. Recently, I've seen Fatality miss many top 8s in the past couple of tourneys (other than that 1 random one a few weeks back, but that was his first top 8 in nearly a year). He also just placed somewhere in top 128 in LMBM. I've been beginning to think Fatality is washed as he has been losing many matches he should realistically be winning, while Sean just seems to be winning consistently. Sean has been on a rise while Fatality has been falling. I'm not saying Sean is better than Fatality yet, but this has definitely gotten to a point where there is no obvious answer anymore. (And before anyone says Fatality beat Esam too, let's be honest, he didn't do it in 3-0 AND 3 stock fashion. The Fatality Esam set was also over a year ago which was during the time of Fatality's rise.)
