@@beniciobonilla2271 they actually have played online a while ago in a first to 5 or 10 don't remember, but he did so much better here and adapted really fast. When they first played esam 2 stocked him first 3 games or so, but he came back quickly after that.

Hang up pika man. It’s really depressing watching pika players do some much stage control, and combo strings to end up doing less damage after the next exchange where the opponent only does like a 2/3 hit string and did nearly twice the amount of damage. Pika is just not it!
After Steve came out a lot of players have made their appearance in the game. Can not wait for Steve to be downgraded to see if they make things up as a players
What does being a Melee player have to do with it? My mate was top 30 EU for a decade and is convinced Aegis is #1. Playing melee doesn’t mean you’re more informed lol

@@sass_king5576 You cant just base how a good a character is purely on results. You have to judge based on a characters tools and their matchups. Pikachu's matchup spread and tools are insane. Easily still a top 3 character. Its just that hardly anyone plays the character.
Especially as people have gotten better and better at parries, two of Pikas most oppressive seeming tools (quick attack and t jolt) have become less dangerous. He’s still top tier but definitely overrated

ESAM said some stupid shit when he was a stupid kid and everyone has been riding that hate wave ever since, because he's eccentric and odd. It's just another derivative hatebase of people that have their marked target and will ride that mockery until the day ESAM is forgotten about. Which for them, is never.
