Alot of posers here! 🙄 skater haters. How could you dislike any of The Nine Club content, some interviews are better than others, but who cares it's free! This was a great episode by the way!

I'm sure more people who like this can't kickflip though haha. Love these guys, but tbh they really need most importantly someone who still skates all the time, and maybe just a random intellectual skater. because so many times Chris or someone says something extremely normal to understand... And everyone else is like "uhh, what, huh, idek what you are talking about at all" which gets a little much sometimes. But tbh need the opinion of someone who skates way more than everyone currently. How hyped to skate can any of us possibly get when everyone's like "Idk it's been months since I skated" which is probably the only reason why more people don't watch these, "none of these dudes even skate anymore" Roger does the most and why he is the most coveted in the group. Sorry for the ramble, just wanted to let y'all know I didn't leave the thumbs down, but I maybe get why someone would randomly haha

Got food poisoning one time at the Arby’s in the mall. Vans skatepark was in that mall so we went to the food court to get food. Tried Arby’s for the first time and I have yet to touch it again.

I remember seeing Malto for the first time in the DC 2005 Aus tour video when he was coming up fast on Brian Herman with his perfect textbook flips. Great video, with this memorable moment: Brian Wenning: "This kid's gonna go pro dude!" Malto: "Well, if Wenning says i'm gonna go pro then i'm going pro!"

Gravette describes in his episode (around the hour mark) several instances where he got badly injured and it seemed to coincide with Malto being around. That's how the idea of the Malto curse developed 😂. He also admits to being quite superstitious in general and has a talisman necklace that he always wears.

enjoyed that. good watch. By the way , Meanwhile 2 was built in 1978...definitely as a skate park from day one. There was in fact several other parks built around London using the same molds ( it's built from pre cast sections. Only Kennington remains.

Re-watching this and realised when you guys were talking about Gang of Fourstar I re-watched that video one of my favourites from Fourstar... upon realising Fourstar is gone?! So sad... they had the best team and made the sickest stuff. I've had one of those Fourstar air fresheners in my car for close to 10 years now, I'll never get rid of it.
