@@Trickyrocket1998 Shaun was best in doing surgery saving people's in operatin theater....he don't wanted Dr Shaun to interact with patient directly because he was honest, he can't lie and don't give credit or his Shaun's hard work credit to arrogant incompetent seniors like him.
Haha I was thinking the same thing! 😂😂😂 The patients will also be thinking that it's that doctor instead of the other doctor that knows what's going on! Ugh taking credit when credit isn't due is a horrible thing to do to somebody! Ugh
“I could ask him to stay home till he gets better.”………… if that line alone doesn’t tell you every thing you need to know about that character, I don’t know what will.
Regardless of everything else, Sean has a very strong spirit. When most people go through this sort of thing they are not as calm through it as he is. Hope in the end it worked out for Sean.
I think he's embarrassed by Sean. He doesn't think he's a good representation of a doctor because of his autism, even though he knows he is an excellent doctor when it comes to diagnosing patients. I think for him it's more like not wearing a suit in an office. It doesn't look the way he wants it to. Han made himself so small. He really could have had his teachable moment and frown as a person and a doctor. So many missed moments.
@starspaceschool587 That is not what he is doing. The ableism showing is holding stereotypical ideas of what Shaun can and cannot do based on Dr. Han's perception of what Shaun can or cannot do because of his label/ diagnosis. That is ableism. It makes me cringe how Dr. Han judges him. Switching him to pathology was a way to "hide him in the closet" like they used to do in the old days with people with disabilities. That is the WORST thing you could do with a person with autism. Being around patients is how he LEARNS social skills, without contact with people, his social skills will get worse . Also the statement about " Until he gets better". Autism doesn't get better. It is how he processes information. A doctor should know that. It doesn't go away. The statement that Dr. Han says about " you shouldn't be around patients" really pisses me off. Shaun should actually sue him for discrimination. Oh, and FYI? The person that I think shouldn't be around patients is Dr. Han. Dr. Han has no compassion.
@@patriciajones4206 Dr. Han perception of what he can and can’t do came from Shaun’s actions not because of his “label”. He recognized he genius but also his lack of bed side manner. Pathology wasn’t a way to “hide him in the closest” it was an attempt to put him somewhere where his genius would still be useful but his weaknesses wouldn’t affect his work. A 400 lb guy makes a great lineman but a terrible wide receiver. As for him learning social skills that’s not on the hospital to teach. There are plenty of people who shouldn’t be around patients/customers and it has nothing to do with autism. As for his case there are plenty of examples of him defying orders and doing other stuff that would warrant firing him rather than a transfer. People with disabilities don’t get a free pass just because they are disabled that would be discriminatory and would then get you sued.
@@starspaceschool587 And let me ask you how many doctors do YOU Know who were fantastic doctors, with horrible bed side manors who aren't fired and are in fact at the top of their field. To me Han has a worse bedside manor than Shaun. He would make me feel uncomfortable if he were my doctor because he is TOO unemotional. Shaun fights for his patients to not just get the easy treatment but the right treatment. I don't see Dr Han doing that. Shaun IS being treated differently because of his label. Without the label, he would be given the opportunity to learn. Dr. Han is assuming because of his disability that he can't LEARN social skills. That is incorrect. Let me ask you, is this the first time a doctor has ever gotten emotional in front of a patient? And there have been some patients who have been comforted by Dr. Shaun being their Dr., because their doctor is just like them, and it gives them hope.
What I love about this Han character is that in real life he’s one of the writers and producers for this show. So he knew how to write his character to be both a stickler for the rules and disliked enough that they could prove his lack of Empath to anyone that’s different than him
Hmmm? I think han is not as evil as people think. Its not black and white like that. Its that shawns outbursts are unprofessional and that they could definately hinder the hospital. At same time shawn is rlly good at his diagnosis.
The ignorance of somebody thinking they can tell someone with autism to stay home until they get better and to be a doctor and make that statement I never want to see you😮
@@KingMovie100 I really don't watch TV much, I do like Thursday night Saturday night and Sunday anything to do with masterpiece theater, but other than that I don't really watch TV. Am I doctors are usually residents right out of school and they're about as smart as a Rhode Island red.

I completely understand the reason han put shawn, although he is really an asshole with shawn, people with autism sometimes can be too much sincere, and that is just one problem, it is shown in the show times shawn has a breakdown in the middle of a surgery, wich is a lot of risk to take when dealing with someones life, dr han is an asshole, but shawn brilliancy can be used in different areas
