5:52 personally, an extremely underutilized benefit of the seaplane is that when it lands, you can see 2 tiles around it, and still use radio if it hasnt been used (very broken to evade ambush AA). This is extremely op if you want to sacrifice your 55 tix to heavily damage/destroy an enemy battleship/carrier when paired with a battleship or missile boat.
best naval loadout: 2 carriers, one with 2 fighters and the other with 2 spotters(1 carrier with 1 fighter and spotter is the cheaper version). missle boats escorted by destroyers for sonar and cruiser sub for extra seaplane and scouting. its practically a guaranteed win if you maintain air superiority
I disagree. My preference is 1 carrier with 2 dive bombers and a fighter (or 1 dive bomber and a torp bomber with the fighter) and a battleship, this ensures that the carrier can be safely* escorted while being able to fight opposing planes (although usually you can only afford 2 dive bombers on the carrier on the battleship)
Summary: Use seaplane tender if you want to focus in ground, air and naval. Use seaplane tender if you want to focus on naval. Jet fighter is only good if you have airport nearby
It depends If you need the extra ability to repair along with having specifically seaplanes then that's good along with a little bit better mobility but if you're basically want to have no mobility but just extra raw power of destruction then aircraft carrier
Both the seaplane tender and the aircraft carrier need cost buffs, as a sea plane carrier with 1 extra seaplane costs 205, and a carrier with one jet costs 300
Using jets to bait anti air seems a bit iffy to me given that jets are quite expensive over the normal fighter. Sure it does have more armor so it should be able to survive most anti air (except for spaag) but, I feel like it'll take the jet out of commission for quite a bit

both of them sucks, they cost so much you can barely afford other ships and land units, seaplane tender requires other ships or arty to be used so you need to spend more and they really can’t offer much to attack enemy ships, a smart player can put a AA ship under the enemy plane and they are trapped. Expensive, costly, spaag obliterates it and IFV. They all SUCK. airports? The enemy will prob have anti air
